Getting fit again after bronchitis
Before this I was doing really well with my fitness
cycling
to work also doing jogging, swimming and yoga. I want to start getting my fitness levels back up again but I don't know where to start. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Pulled a muscle (Touch Rugby), taking a long time to recover.....normal ?
Was feeling quite good up to end August,
cycling
carefully, and even mountain biking occasionally. Juicing on a daily basis, then thought I'd play a game of touch rugby, super-breathless, played on and pulled my TFL.

Off IC 🤞🤞
Whilst plussing up on
cycling
to keep up fitness and stamina, yes, of course I came a cropper on my bike. My left thigh took the hit and have been recovering for the last few weeks. Anyway have now managed three shortish interval runs as a starting point.

I keep
cycling
between moments of thinking it’s ocd and then thinking that I’m actually working very hard to ignore an affair. I also feel lots of shame around this. I don’t like hurting my wife but I also feel like my real problem is that I don’t have the courage to leave my wife.

Cryoablation feedback after six months.
I'm
cycling
once per week and riding my electric assisted bike once per week. I've used the rowing machine a bit, and I'm on my third week of couch to 5k running (I call it running but its really shuffle 1-2 mins, walk 1-1.5 mins).

Look what rest does!!!
So 6 days no running, RICE,
cycling
. Tonight I gave it a go back on two feet.... Never in my life have I ran this far! I graduated C25K 3 weeks ago, this was probably only my 6th consolidation run. Bit slower than my usual average pace of 7’39 but very chuffed with my achievements this evening 😊

Nearly There
I’ve started
cycling
again and put a lot of time in on my bike to raise my metabolism, build muscle and burn calories. I am fitter, I don’t need a nap in the afternoons as I used to. I no longer take medication for my blood pressure.

Trying to rebuild muscles
For me PMR has left my leg muscles reasonably intact, walking and
cycling
show no real difference, but has devastated my arm muscles. Doing a single press-up is a major achievement and even thinking about doing a chin-up is too painful.

They have never had a
cycling
amputee but my physios do not see why not. It has to be cleared with the Head of Physio but I feel up to the challenge. More later...

This and the fact I couldn't run the length of myself .After losing 34kg and doing a lot of
cycling
I decided to take the leap . I was just made redundant so might as well do something useful with my time I thought. W1 R1 I struggled , even couldn't finish one of the 60 second runs .

Today's bike ride
coming the other way and gave me a miniscule amount of space then a car turned in front of me to pull into a farm whilst I was
cycling
along our main road and no indicator was used either.

I did it!!! Week 9 run 2 🏃♀️🏃♀️
I started indoor
cycling
in June to help regain my fitness and started C25K to help with my bone 🦴 health. Has taken my much longer than 9 weeks to get to this point as I really did have to listen to my body and take it easy.

Could you log your miles for the Vascular Awareness Month
If you are doing any walking,
cycling
, running or hand
cycling
, swimming, could you sign up to #TheBodyWalk here https://circulationfoundation.org.uk. We are collectively hoping to get round the 60,000 miles of the arterial tree to raise awareness of all vascular diseases.

I have come down with a cold for the last week and I'm still feeling very congested so going to get back to running and
cycling
and running my virtual HM when I'm better! Just thought I would give you guys a little update! 😀

A ford, wet feet but my first 10k
I put on my (
cycling
) waterproof socks and set off hopefully. I suppose that it is obvious when you think about it that fords are in valleys and valleys can be steep.
