too hot to exercise today (37C=98F)!
I go
cycling
and work out on a rowing machine and lift light weights and go for long walks (thnx John Pepper). I read a comment elsewhere that novelty is important to challenge the brain so I guess those here that do boxing are on the right track. But today I am perspiring sitting here typing ...

Week 8 run 1 completed
So far run days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday with
cycling
or walking on the other days. Who knows, I might even be fit soon?

Exercise and rheumatoid arthritis?
Can I recommend
cycling
as good exercise for sufferers of RA? It is impact free on one's joints as long as you don't crash, a great way to get around, helps keep weight down and builds muscular support for joints. What is not to like?

New to site, 'treat as ' PMR rheumatology diagnosis July...struggling already
I know the payback but formerly very active, walking,
cycling
, surfing, gardening and I felt like the person I was a couple of years ago. I guess it doesn't work like that.

I used Lauraās speed podcast for the first time today and discovered I hate running intervals just as much as I hate
cycling
them š ran out of intervals before I got to 2.5k, so continued a gently jog till I got the distance in.

By the way, I am a very fit 65 year old that does a lot of long distant
cycling
although now beginning to feel decidedly lethargic and wasted! PS Anyone able to suggest T3 friendly NHS consultants in North Somerset area?!

Bipolar spectrum/ change to rapid cycling?
Hi, I read this article because Iāve been having mood swings ever since I stopped cymbalta (I was doing well): http://psycheducation.org/diagnosis/. I have no thryoid, but am stable on the meds. Restarted cymbalta but still mood swings. Added abilify, now on 5 mg, so periods in between lows are longer

Anyhow been to the GP who has recommended I take a few weeks rest from the running and turn to
cycling
, swimming until recovered. My question is simply what week should I look to restart when back fit as it's pretty demoralising to have got to near Week 8 and then have to go back a few weeks.

W2R2 - fight with myself continues
Shortly after I saw long-time-no-see-friend
cycling
all fresh and happy to work O_O we stopped for a quick catch-up chat. Very nice encounter. My pace and rhythm already in bin. OK, here I go... Where did I finish? Which minute? I am in a wrong place...

He was incredibly fit and healthy, a keen cyclist,
cycling
up to 100 miles a day, didnāt drink, smoke and was a very good weight. He had an echo and clotesterol test around 6 months prior, all coming back fine.

In my fifty's I have always been active but with age came ailments such as sciatica which put pay to
cycling
. I enjoy been out in the fresh air and am enjoying finding new walks and new places to go. OS Maps has been a real help with this and i find myself just wanting to be out and about.

Exercsing with Arrhythmia
The current advice from my GP prior to any treatment is to STOP
cycling
but where practical to keep active and walk as much as possible. I recently blacked out during a cycle ride so reluctantly I'm going to have accept this advice and work with my GP while tests etc are on-going.

Aaaargh! W4 looming large...
have had sore shins this week.... really struggling to get past the last 3 minute run as well, all I can think of is clockface ticking down and the legs don't want to know...and having already looked up what W4 holds, its fair to say I am not as energised as I wanted to be...on top that I have been
