OFF the COUCH... MARCH... WEEK 2... So... why on earth are you running????
Turning to catch my breath, my heart was full; memories of my lovely childhood and my parents and my Nan… days of sunshine,
swimming
, sand, sea and laughter…days which, our daughter and her family will enjoy, and sometimes, wonderfully, will be shared with us.

I have had JMEpilepsy since age 14, when I fractured my skull on the side of school swimming pool!
I have scholiosis on my spine since birth, and cannot sleep on my back, I am 63 so have ALWAYS slept on my right hand side. On 7th December I slept on my left hand side, and proceeded to have a seizure while on my living room chair, I strongly suspect this was caused due to my sleeping on my left hand

Wish me luck!
all these questions that were
swimming
around in my head whilst I can’t move after my operation, it made me realise that the answers to these questions are all the same: There is no answer.

Advice needed regarding possible referral for 'further tests'.
Both times Afib followed a short period of
swimming
in the baths and sea. I was in A+E all night (on my 70th birthday) and advised to go on to Apixaban which I am on (following great advice from this forum).

and i'm feeling good
Without a doubt the gym work and
swimming
are helping with my runs, my legs feel strong, my heart rate is steady (97% of run in zone 3) and my breathing is happening without effort.

miocarditis recovery and MRI Scan test?
I miss running, walking and
swimming
but I am too afraid to do physical activity as I am afraid of getting ill again. I wonder much longer I need to wait for the MIR results to come back.

What kind of thing makes your fast better?
Gentle
swimming
. Ginger tea or a sip of sugar free ginger beer if I get a bit nauseous. Short nap and a hot water bottle if I need it.

Spa, baths and swimming during IVF
I’ve been advised no steam rooms or saunas after egg collection but
swimming
should be ok. What advise have you been given? Finally, what about baths and hot water bottles. Are these generally ok or should they be avoided at specific stages of IVF. Thanks in advance.

Not enjoying winter running!
I'm a bit accident prone so would probably end up
swimming
! I'm thinking joining a gym might be the way forward. Do others loose motivation at this time of year?

Hip joint discomfort
I'm 59 years old, reasonably fit (
swimming
, badminton, yoga, hill walking) and I've recently completed the couch to 5k. In the last two weeks I've had a problem with my left hip, inside at the top of my leg.

Swim
I was not as active as the other pool users (average age was well above mine) in fact I resorted to floating gently on my back when I needed a little rest from
swimming
. My
swimming
style has changed - I no longer do the breast stroke with the frog kicks going on with my legs.
