Going to Try a Run

Over three months since my feet put paid to any running. And, while they're really not better, I /think/ there's signs of improvement thanks to two goes at getting the orthotics right. So, I've talked the coach into letting me go for a run next week. I've been keeping up with the swimming and cycling turbo and road work, but it's not the same. Monday morning then, a short little jogette, just to see it goes...

Hope it goes well. Slow and not too far I guess. Always good to get that first successful post injury run done. 👍

I will keep everything crossed for you. Try not to go whooping along with your arms in the air like I did (or choose somewhere quiet to run🤣). Hope all goes really well 🤞🤞🤞

Well, that wasn't comfortable on my feet, and I don't think I could have gone much further than the two miles I managed. But I really, really enjoyed that! Just wish I could get these bloody feet sorted! :(
