Longest ever run

Chuffed to bits I did 8 k following ju ju plan & I’m delighted to say I did it this is longest run since cross country days in school age 52 I honestly didn’t think I could took hour and a half I think I butwhat a beautiful frost and nature giving me a glow so might be slow but I did it and I do yoga twice a week and a little swimming to help

Congratulations that’s great and well done for actually doing cross country at school. I used to go and hide in a friend’s house. I absolutely hated it!!! 😊

Look at us now 52 and running long distances like this. Nearly at 10k and graduation!

Wow awesome I do remember that sick feeling and being forced to do cross country wow we really are prepared on this programme 10 k is incredible big treat after! Xx

Indeed. I’m signed up for a a 10k on 14th and turn 53 on 12th. My son is them home for Christmas and I haven’t seen him since August last year so lots of treats and celebrations. 🥳

Brilliant - well done - when I was at school we used to run to the first hedge and hide there till the others came back before tagging along at the back - no wonder I am struggling these days!!
