Just had an episode of Acute Renal Failure and feeling quite distressed
I love hiking, gardening, canoeing,
swimming
, aerobics, camping, etc. I did plenty of those things until my liver gave out when I was around 45 -- since then, I can't do any of them. I have tried to be active slowly, then work my way up, but it does not help.

Dinton Pastures & Hazelwood parkruns - Nos. 18 & 19
Did a little bit of
swimming
and want this to increase as I get more comfortable with it again. I am now one run away from joining the Cowell club. I'm still aiming for 25 consecutive tourist runs (a Quarter Cowell) before I revisit some venues.

Garmin Black Friday which model to get
I’m looking at getting a Garmin forerunner 235 or the Vivoactive 3 do both watches show pace distance time and I want to use it for the gym and the odd
swimming
session I’ve seen the forerunner 245 it’s a possibility only if I can get a great deal on it so what do I go for if the 245 is to expensive

100 Days of no smoking and going beyond...
I am learning
swimming
now, reading books and most importantly becoming positive. I hope to continue going ahead smoke-free and come back again when I finish 6 months, my next benchmark. Thanks for reading and wish me luck. It_gs.

Finding glasses to fit asymmetric facial features
Her optician couldn't be more helpful and orders in lots of frames to try on, but she always ends up with the best of a bad bunch - and expensive, too, especially when spares and sunglasses and
swimming
goggles are needed! Has anyone here got any experience of this?

Feeling lost today
I just feel like I'm in limbo and
swimming
in a sea of emotional pain. I have no idea what to do and I can't cope anymore.

W1R1- Third time lucky?
Problem is, literally all I wear is jeans or black trousers for work, so my options were limited to
swimming
shorts or pyjama trousers. It’s cold outside. Now that I think about it, the combats probably wouldn’t fit anymore.

Down to the coast
I was surprised to see someone
swimming
in the sea with just a pair of trunks on in this 8 degrees weather but each to their own! I asked Teddis owner if Teddi could come on the walk with us which she did. She had fun with her new ball on the beach.

Tired of life
I used to go
swimming
a lot to de-stres myself, but recently just found myself so demotivated. Don't know how to cope anymore.

A Sharp intake of Breath!!
I cannot get to a
swimming
pool which would be the obvious thing to do. I want to be as healthy as possible for this operation, just not sure how to go about it with relatively limited mobility??

A positive update (sensitive)
It was brilliant, actually looked like a baby, and was
swimming
around and making shapes. After the 2 scans I’m only just starting to actually believe this might have worked for us.

My sabbatical, running and handstands 😺
I’ve added in a few extras like yoga,
swimming
and strength stuff which have all helped keep injury at bay. Oh and handstands, I love handstands too. I’m on a training plan which is helping, and I just love the feeling of being upside down.

Mind Games
That being said, I need you to know that if my toilet emptied into my
swimming
pool, it will take about 2 years to refill it!! Not accounting for evaporation!! So, all the more reason to say “if its yellow, let it mellow!! Save the planet!!! Jc

magic plan week 1
I know I need to help strengthen my legs if they are going to run more than the 5k I do now so
swimming
seemed a good option and it felt great to be back in the pool. My 5.5km run is going to be tomorrow then I am going to swim again Tuesday morning and do my 2.5km run Tuesday evening.
