Why shouldn’t I do it? I have to. It helps me.
Mine is
swimming
, I have to do it, but have you gone back to the activity where you had your cardiac adventure/activity?

Interestingly, and I touch wood as I say this, I started regular twice a week
swimming
sessions last May and have not had an AF episode since that time. Seeing my cardiologist for my 6 month check next week, it will be interesting to see what he makes of this.

The hills are .....
Carried on at the side of the road to a
swimming
spot which we visited a lot when were here before but it was too cold to consider a dip. To get home we continued a little further then turned to another road sloping steeply uphill which flattened out a bit after a hundred metres or so.

Post Xmas run
Ending up back in the carpark I changed to
swimming
stuff, crocs and dressing gown....only managed 40 strokes as I had 2 waves break over my head which then hurts like billyo in the cold.🏊 Sea is 7' and air temperature about 8. Too many fishermen and walkers on the beach...

Best cardio workouts for Arthritis
Swimming
and Ellipticals are mainly mentioned but the former is a bit out of the question currently - I could look for a cheap elliptical machine perhaps? This is combined with a low-weights workout to help my feeble arms actually gain some muscle. Thanks!

Terrified of steriod
I have added
swimming
to my weekly routine to see if exercising to help with my chronic fatigue syndrome but it's not. I was prescribed steroids for 4 weeks, but I am terrified of taking it. It 20mg for 1week and 15mg the next week, 10mg and 5mg the next couple of weeks.

This afternoon it's
swimming
. Although its cold, the sun has come out and I feel an uplifting of my spirit. Hope it's sunny where you are too. Best wishes to you all.

Do I have PMR?
After lots of stretchi[i]ng, exercise,
swimming
and using a hot tub 90% of my symptoms are gone. So I'm a little confused as to what has been going on. People always say "go see your doctor and get tested". But that clearly wasn't productive. Anything else I can try?

I'm currently on it with a reduction of Clonazepam and normal dose of Duloxetine and I'm experiencing vivid dreams, uncontrollable crying,

Total Thyroidectomy last week
I simply thought that I did not see
swimming
as exercise and you are still recovering.and chalked it up to you swam too hard, too quickly in rough waters. And left it. And then there was my first endocrinologist appointment. She said can you do me a favour?

We know how important it is to keep her moving and go
swimming
3-4 times a week and we walk every day. It is heartbreaking to see her still in so much pain ten months post op. Any advice greatly appreciated.
