I was pleased with my weight, figure and exercise at the end of 2019. Then along came Covid and on top of that I was diagnosed with Non Hodgekins Lymphoma. Surgery, chemo and radio was the regimen for that year. Not a good time to need serious treatment. Everything went to pot. Got through it all and was given the all clear in Spring of this year. For a while I was too weak for exercise and although I wasn't gorging on chocolate and junk food (not keen), lack of exercise and need of comfort won out. I gained about twelve pounds but am determined to get back on track and lose that weight by mid April when I'm off on the Queen Elizabeth for a cruise around the Med. The Christmas gorge was followed by my birthday (73). Now it's all over I'm knuckling down. This morning I did five minutes on my exercise bike followed by some dumb bell exercise. This afternoon it's swimming. Although its cold, the sun has come out and I feel an uplifting of my spirit. Hope it's sunny where you are too. Best wishes to you all.
