Bust my foot 7 weeks ago, recovering very slowly. I had a big sock thing but after DVT scare took that off. GP initial advise was to cycle on elliptical trainer as soon as I could weight bear, but this brought the swelling back. Can anyone recommend youtube etc exercise program that will keep me fit and reduce muscle loss without hurting foot. Obvs swimming is out, cannot get to pool or around on slippy floor. Did wonder about DIY rowing machine. There are a lot of youtube out there, but I am worried about injury so would prefer a recommend

Oh dear! It sounds like your having a painful time! I’m also on the running-injury couch and have been taking to rowing. But I’m lucky to have an indoor rower at home.

But on our Sister forum Strength and Flex we do have some exercise workouts for runners that have experienced some injuries: healthunlocked.com/strength...

I used Caroline Jordans hurt foot chair work outs when I was on the ic with an ankle injury. She has loads of different chair workouts on YouTube. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
