Am so weak :(
I got up today and put on my patch. I had a relapse over the weekend but was determined to stick with it as my reasons for wanting to stop are still at the forefront of my mind. I walked to the chemist to get an inhalator and had gum at the same time. I am on holiday this week and for some reason could

How does one bring up Vitamin D levels when deficient?
He
quit
smoking
two years ago and has gained about 15 pounds since that time. He doesn't move a lot. What would be the suggestion as to vitamins and minerals to help him with his Vit D up?

Relapse
I blew a 2 mth
quit
through too much alcohol. However, after
smoking
a couple of roll ups when sober I realised just how evil these things taste. I also did not feel well after the dopamine injection that cigs give you, rather I felt on edge, and anxious.

You can do it!
I decided enough was enough. my mum had
quit
2 months before after 40 years of
smoking
and I thought if she could do it so could I! I have quit for 9 weeks now I no longer crave cigarettes or miss them!

Diary of my road to freedom...
This is my umpteenth and final
quit
. I actually hate myself because of my
smoking
now to make this one stick. I put my last fag out on Monday night at 9 pm. Day one - Tuesday . I woke up feeling tired at about 7 am... by 10 I had drank 3 large coffees. Felt dizzy with oxygen.

First day today - long time coming!!!
Today is my first day of quitting
smoking
. I have
quit
twice before for over a year, both fails were due to a tough life event and me thinking i was "safe" to have "just one" as i never really thought about smoking anymore, so i'll be on the look out for that trap if i can get that far again!

e cigs
Hi I went to GP last night as my breathing has got worse and I didn't feel too good. He said that I have acute Asthma or Bronchitis and he has given me steroids, anti-biotics (third course since October) and a ventalin inhaler. He said that e cigs are toxic and there has been a recent study that has

Support for people quitting in Leeds area
We would love to find a story to give people the motivation they need to
quit
and link it to No
Smoking
Day on the 9th March. It is important to find someone local to Leeds as it makes a much more relatable story and "closer to home" in more ways than one.

2016 - a fantastic smoke-free year!
Hi everyone and a Happy New Year for all! Let's make sure that 2016 becomes a fantastic smoke free year. It's been 17 days since I lit up for the last time, but I prefer to remember that it's been 17 days of freedom. Ok, it maybe doesn't quite feel like freedom yet with all the cravings and anxiety that

I
quit
smoking
on 12/05/2015 after smoking 48 years. I went to a 6 week free program the State of Florida. They gave me the NRT patches for a month. 2 weeks of 21 mg, 2 weeks of 14 mg. Since I was such a heavy smoker I am staying on the 21 mg for 6 weeks

E cig
I was very excited when I managed 8 days without a cigarette and began to prefer my electronic cigarette. However, this did not last as I woke up one morning and could not breathe. My doctor now is testing me for COPD and given me a ventalin inhaler. What I find so weird is that although I do suffer
