Hi everyone and a Happy New Year for all! Let's make sure that 2016 becomes a fantastic smoke free year. It's been 17 days since I lit up for the last time, but I prefer to remember that it's been 17 days of freedom. Ok, it maybe doesn't quite feel like freedom yet with all the cravings and anxiety that do creep in sometimes along the day, but when I look back and see days adding to days, there is a nice sense of accomplishment.
I started the 3rd course of Champix yesterday and today I decided to swap my low-dosage eliquid for 0% nicotine eliquid. It feels like the right thing to do, as hopefully this is my last course of Champix and I believe it's time to adjust to having no nic at all. Weaning away from Champix kind of frightens me, because I'm really not sure of how much of my current state of being able to fight off cravings is due to the drug, or if it's alread my doing, on my own. Guess I'll find before the end of this year's first month.

Hi ya Atlantida 17 days quit is just flippin ACE gal your doing ever so well and I'm loving the fact that your now on zero nic liquid with your e-cig Just cant fault ya one little bit gal
Champix works on your nicotine receptors in your brain, it sort of numbs them and I know it's definitely working for you now as in zero nic in your e-cig soooo, any cravings you get now are just the habit part of smoking perhaps at certain times of the day, in certain places, but these will pass
As for you coming off the champix, there is no frightening thing about it, cos just like when you started taking it for the first time, a gradual build up to the full course it will be a gradual reversal of that So no worries there eh
