Why am i so emotional ?: Have to get this out... - Quit Support
Why am i so emotional ?
Hiya joe and welcome to quit support😊
Congratulations on day 8, great achievement but it's a roller coaster of emotions alright😩
Don't worry, it's all very normal side effects though. Hang in there and have a good look around the site. Lots of help under pinned posts too.
Are you using NRT or are ya cold turkey?
Hello joeuk
When people quit, the withdrawals can come on strong..... Your chemistry in your brain and body are changing and depression and/or crying is a very normal part of quitting unfortunately..... Have you tried a bit of nicotine gum or spray...... I went cold turkey and went through hell but it's all worth it..... Keep the site close.... People on here will help you through your withdrawal....
Arizona xx

It does and it will get better
I've been having such a hard time emotionally..my mood swings are terrible..my sister isn't talking to me anymore because of it..if I tell her it's because I'm trying to quit smoking will only make it worse.. this sure is hard..Eileen
