Cycling problems.
Morning all :0). I’m just looking for ideas as I’m a bit stuck/frustrated with my current situation at the moment! Maybe there isn’t a solution, but hey you have to try 🙂! I have RA plus OA and can’t drive any more (medical reasons). Walking is now fairly difficult. Normally I get about perfectly

Heart Rate Monitor
I do a lot of
cycling
of between 35 and 60 miles per day on 3 days per week. I need advice as to which Heart Rate Monitor I should purchase. I need a basic one, esy to use and one which I can glance down at and see my heart rate in real time. Any advice or experience would be much appreciated.

30 Minutes not Enough
Keep reasonably fit
cycling
20 miles x 3 times a week. Doctor questioned how I was taking pills and stated take early morning 30 mins before drink or food. This did not work effectively. I changed the regime. I set the alarm for 4am! (body clock now does this for me). Take tablets. Back to sleep.

Hi all, new to the community and recently took up running after a break of roughly 40 years😀 I'm used to
cycling
but was quite surprised how hard I've found running, now on week 4 run 2 of the C25K, going well so far, a few niggles and my asthma is playing up.

Short-cycling Oxygen concentrator?
Quick one, here: Is it bad to short-cycle a home O2 Concentrator? By "short", I mean (roughly) 1 hour on, 2 hours off & repeat several times per day. Is it harmful to the compressor, catalyst / sieve or other parts? Fwiw, the machine is a CAIRE Companion 5 Eco w/ ca. 2400 hrs. I'm asking as I only

Feeling Normal?
Full of energy and ready for a long days work,
cycling
the hills, working on the barns or making something . Not to have this constant pain, stiffness around the top of the pelvic girdle and the curved spine losing me 3" of height from contracting muscle.

Back at it!
So, after several years of
cycling
and not running, being a 'once upon a time' couch to 5k graduate, I have put myself back on the program.

Knee pain
My exercise bike
cycling
is improving which is also helping my general health but with several other health conditions I’m not sure how hard to push without making things worse. Please don t advise speaking to my dr as I live in Shropshire and that is almost impossible!

Update.
I was hit by a car while
cycling
to work on Tuesday after the driver lurched forward at a junction. Cuts and some heavy bruising. My ribs took a hit as I landed on the car bonnet and onto the road. So very sore. Not the best start back to work. Slowly healing. Love and strength to all.

Determined!
I have gone from two minutes
cycling
a couple of months ago to being able to cycle over different terrains (virtual) for up to 25minutes. Modern technology means I can sightsee en route. Tonight I cycled along the lakeside road below my son s house in Ohiniwae New Zealand. It’s not flat!

trip planned for beginning of June in France is pushing my luck? Thanks

Severe Proximal RCA Disease and Moderate LAD Disease - NO FURTHER ACTION!
Apparently my MRI stress test wasn't very good, and I have been advised to cut down on my
cycling
, but they can't say how much is too much. He said 99% of our patients don't do any exercise, and I am a unique case. I feel like a second opinion is needed

I’m a very fit person, doing lots of yoga, rambling &
cycling
. Never smoked, have drank a little in my past but very little these days. Usually a healthy diet also. So doing mostly what sounds to be good certainly doesn’t mean we don’t become unwell it seems.
