side effects of hydroxycarbamide
I am soon to start this drug, does it impact on physical activity; I do a lot of
cycling
and swimming at the moment. Also, has anyone experienced problems with immunity?

Cycling with Lloyd
With duff knees
cycling
is good option for me and I found this video very helpful with my iPad balanced precariously over the handlebars (no expensive hi tech bike here…..just a 20 year old past sell by date bought for my son after injury).

High Blood Pressure
I do plenty of exercise - cardio and yoga and
cycling
. Has anyone else had a similar experience and what can be done? I will be seeing my rheumatologost on August 9 so will definitely ask her what could be causing this. Thanks

Comfortable bike saddle?
I have just gone back to
cycling
using an E-bike. It has taken me over a year to get the bike set up right for me. An ongoing problem is pain in the base of my spine. I’m upright on the saddle and it must be pressure.

Maybe swimming if you haven’t done it in a while ( but not in the Seine apparently), chair yoga,
cycling
indoors or outdoors.

Are you in Toronto?
I am very concerned as she already has poor circulation, poor sleep, has had the Covid jabs and does long distance
cycling
. She has not been diagnosed and is not on anticoagulants.

To the Tune of Yesterday
I did something wrong, now I long for yesterday-ay-ay-ay Yesterday,
cycling
anywhere on any day. Now I cannot even get away, Oh, I'm so sad for yesterday. Now I've got them both I must go the taper way.

Pacemaker - shoulder pain
I first noticed it when
cycling
; not sure if it was the position on the bike or the vibration from off-road riding, but I did nothing extreme. Now I notice it more often. I feel it sometimes in the middle of the muscle on top of the shoulder and sometimes in the shoulder joint.

cycling

PMR flare? Reluctant to keep on highish doses of steroids.
In November I also broke my right pelvis
cycling
(on ice), which has fully recovered, but obviously my gait, as well as my
cycling
, were affected. My questions are: 1) I'm very reluctant to have to keep on 20mg steroids for a long time, but equally well know the drawbacks of methotrexate.

Moods
Finding it interesting that I m managing to continue with my indoor
cycling
goals despite health issues and that my mood has been more optimistic even with minimal weight loss.

ROWING: A Spotify song playlist and ExerScreen Music Workouts
(Or indoor
cycling
, but I don’t do that). So I tried it out on my new playlist, and it’s pretty much fun rowing according to these intervals, which in turn kind of follow the music’s intensity. 30min erging workout, rowing to 30min of music all about rowing! Whatever keeps us going, right?

Succesful Ablation Exercise and Recovery
I used to be very fit and loved rowing,
cycling
, boxing training, weights, walking 5 miles, all of which was scuppered by Afib and the side effects of medication, I couldnt walk more than 500 yards without being exhausted and had to have a nap every afternoon for two hours.

So anxious about new medication
I have rapid
cycling
bipolar and have been having a mood episode every couple of weeks. I’ve tried lots of different medications and none of them have really worked very well. I’ve just been moved onto Quetiapine and am up to the target dose, after cross tapering with olanzapine.
