I completed my first Vitality race! It was a very positive atmosphere and there was actually time to warm up. It was a circular mostly flat route which I really liked and I got to see all the iconic views of London. I will be mostly strength training and cycling the rest of the year but I do hope to do one or two fun runs with my friends to round off the year ☺️

London Vitality 10,000 complete!
Congratulations to you Zee221b on completing the London Vitality 10,000, I ran the virtual version in 2021 and 2022, they give you a lovely medal and T Shirt once you finish the run, I sort of missed running it this year if for nothing else not getting the 2023 T Shirt 👚.
Congratulations-very envious of both the event and that T-SHIRT.
Congratulations Zee221b👏👏👍🎉 ! Super t-shirt and medal too. I ran it virtually so now I’m just waiting for my t-shirt and medal 👍.
Now just Celebrate 🥳🥳
Congratulations on completing the Vitality 10000 race. It is a lovely route and a great atmosphere, so I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I couldn’t make it this year so ended up doing it virtually. So thank you for posting a picture of the T-shirt and medal - I shall await the postman.
Congratulations! Sounds like it was a great experience. Good luck with the cycling - I hope the weather is kind to you!
Well done! The bling and t-shirt look fab 😍
Enjoy your cycling and strength training. I’ve read that taking time off running to focus on other sports is very good for our running bodies. Do you do this regularly?
Thank you! I happen to enjoy different sports and I've found that it's impossible to engage in all of them as much as I would like every week. So it's just happened naturally that I will prioritize one for a while ( I like to think of it as an on-season) and do the others more occasionally before switching. So in the lead up to my first Ride London in May, I mainly prioritised cycling, and did running on the side. It definitely helps to work different muscles and allow others to recover, and I find that I develop a renewed excitement for whichever sport I stopped doing as often. My main achievement for running this year was to run a half marathon, and now that I have, I want to focus on my other fitness goals, one being to increase my strength and lift more. A bit of a lengthy but I hope it answers your question! ☺️
Well done! Lovely T-shirt isn’t it? And the medal too! 😃
