Back to I/C and chuffed to run for a minute!
After nearly 5 weeks out due to
injury
I finally put my kit
back
on today! It felt great - I did a brisk walk for 30 minutes with four bursts of jogging. My hips and ankle hurt afterwards but I did it!

Week 5 run 1 finally conquered!!!
This was a HUGE hurdle for me as its the run in which I tore a calf muscle three months ago, resulting in nine weeks on the
injury
couch then gently going
back
to the very start of the programme again.

Gluten free help
Hi. Thanks for your advice about going gluten free. I decided to follow on Friday last week. I feel absolutely awful. I'm exhausted. I can't keep my eyes open. I'm down and depressed and I'm having trouble falling asleep at night. Tearful & shut off. Is this normal? I'm struggling to take care of my

Thoroughly enjoying getting back to C25K after my enforced nine weeks off with a calf muscle
injury
. Went
back
to the very beginning again (I was on week 5) and can say it is easier second time round . At least, I haven't shouted at Laura to let me stop yet!!

Unexpected Pregnancy with APS
I had a positive pregnancy test this morning. Last year my OB/GYN told me that carrying to term could kill me. I'm at the doctor now, waiting. I've been switched (first call was to my hematologist) from Pradaxa to Lovonox shots. My husband doesn't know yet because he's at work. I start law school next

Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram
Hi All, It looks like mums Carbo/Caelyx treatment has not been working and she has a blockage in her bile duct from her liver where the disease has progressed. They tried to put a stent in the bile duct today but it was unsuccessful therefore they are doing a Percutaneous Transhepatic. Cholangiogram

Our Street Fifty Years Ago...
Mr Moriarty called this afternoon...he was carrying an empty bag of Beef Finisher and a plastic dustpan. Stumped up the yard to where I was leaning over the half-door of my shed...wiping his brow and breathing heavily. He's very plump is Mr Moriarty. After we'd exchanged greetings and remarks about

increasing pred with infection
In April I was hit by a wheelchair in the
back
of my left leg which left quite a serious
injury
. Within 2 days it became infected and GP gave me antibiotics. Two months on and 3 lots of antibiotics it is still infected.

Dates For Meeting
He came
back
and said it was a brain
injury
Home and the lady there said there hadn't been a meeting there in a long time. So pleased I didn't try to go by myself, it would have thrown mw off course.

Advice needed. Returning after 18 months of injury.
Has anybody else managed to get
back
into running after this type of
injury
and if so what advice can you give me? I was running between 6 and 9K every other day. I now do nothing.

Constant pain
I live with 3 of my 4 children (eldest finally moved out) :-) I have lived in constant pain from a low

Does anybody have vocal chord dysfunction?
I have just been diagnosed with this after years of telling my GP the feeling I got during exercise was not normal asthma. I've been referred to speech and language therapy to learn to control it - just wondering if anybody has been through this and what to expect?

W7 R2 - Back from the Injury Couch
my experience of the Injury Couch was 1. disappointment that I couldn't keep up my rhythm in the programme 2. frustration that I could not get my tri weekly fix of "good feeling" and energy that running gives me. 3. reluctantly leaning from those who have been there that an injury needs to heal before

Need Help!
I am in pain from an old military
injury
, 24/7. Mostly my lower
back
, going into my hip and groin, then down my leg, into feet; I also have sciatic nerve pain on both sides-this is just part of my pain. I go to physical therapy, massage therapy, and chiropractors, with no end to my pain.
