Going backwards
At the moment I am on seriously strong pain killers for a neck
injury
so that is also holding me
back
; hopefully by the end of this week I'll be back in the trainers!

Has anyone started c25k after previously suffering shin splints?
I'm not sure where the line is between pushing myself to progress and pushing myself
back
into an
injury
! Even week 1 60 seconds of running makes me cringe right now :-S

First run back after a week off with foot injury - advice please!
My foot is feeling better, not 100% admittedly but I would like to get
back
out there, carefully.

Acceptance
I have been so depressed lately and have had a couple of meltdowns (one at Walmart and one with my Neuro). I decided the most important thing I can do for my emotional well being, in addition to Paxil, is to quit thinking about "what was". I came across this poster and thought it very fitting so I printed

Hair loss
The dermatologist has put it down to my shoulder
injury
which happened
back
in December 2012 however I do not agree with this as if anything my hair has been much better during this time, up to June/July this year. I just wish someone could get to the bottom of what is happening and why.

Soula’s PN Weather Update
Just yesterday when I stated these words to him, I mostly feel I take two steps forward and about 1.9 steps
back
, he replied with, “Soula you must remember your initial
injury
is a shock to the nervous system so that’s where you will feel things most.”.

planning one thing then doing another!
So for my first run in couple of weeks and I had originally planned to ease
back
into it gently and not risk picking up a niggly
injury
. Plus I was feeling a bit low after not running so the idea was to pep myself up and go back to familiar territory with Laura & the W9 podcast.

Being away from home and the circle of life - food, alcohol & exercise
Today I aggravated my old knee
injury
and pulled the muscle at the
back
of the knee as well. So tomorrow I am going to go for a swim if it is not any better. Thing is I get a meal allowance which includes alcohol and eating in a restaurant (well, a beefeater). So I am having a beer every night.

11.27km -7 Miles
Especially as I thought about 3 weeks ago I wouldn't be able to do the runs I'd signed up for .. 10km I'm September and Half Marathon in October due to a knee
injury
. But after 2 weeks off and 5 runs
back
in I managed it today. Over the moon is an understatement.

Really cross with myself ... well, with my left leg to be specific :(
I know everyone says you have to expect an
injury
at some point that sets you
back
, but I DON'T WANT ONE she says, stamping her foot - the right uninjured one. Guess I'll have to rest up and try again in a couple of days :(

Anyone know anything at all about giving birth with a broken back???
There's something in the right hand side of my pelvic joint which the pregnancy has brought out, probably from the original
injury
to my
back
. Seems did a lot more damage than just a vertebrae fracture and damaged disc, but until the baby's born they can't investigate to much as will make worse.

Liason Psychiatry? Has anyone else been referred by their Consultant?
After over 3 years of suffering from Fibromyalgia and something called 'Functional Weakness' my Neurologist referred me to Liason Psychiatry & Neuro-Physiotherapy. Since this has happened I have got so much worse whilst waiting for appointments. My walking is more restricted than ever and I am in so

Graduated, running for enjoyment, heat wave and injury.....
Now the Achilles
injury
is
back
with a vengeance so no running for me for a while. Never mind. Running is part of me now, a few weeks off but I'll be back, I might go back to an earlier week of the plan to build back up again.

Back in the game!
After 3 weeks off with a leg
injury
I a have finally been able to get
back
out there. Getting to 5k in 42mins and feeling disheartened as I'm having to do 5min sets. It has just been getting too hot and sweaty.
