W2R1 - second (or even third) time around!
Having had my first two attempts thwarted by
injury
, I'm very happy to be
back
on track, and ran W2R1 this morning. I got to week 5 last time but decided to go right back to the beginning and have upped the pace slightly this time round - which so far seems to be doable!!

FUROSEMIDE
Hi, I've suffered with COPD for sometime and always thought I was good at managing it, however I was recently told that I was having an uninflected flair up, after three weeks of steroids I now have some fluid in my lungs and very bad oedema to both ankles and legs, the GP put me on 40mg FUROSEMIDE daily

Delayed start to W9
But the
injury
gave me a chance to regroup and come
back
stronger. I went out hoping I hadn't lost too much fitness, and came home running further than I ever have done in my entire life. Running has given me such a sense of achievement.

Walk in showers
I also have a
back
injury
and have pretty bad pain if I have to walk any great distance. I recently requested a walk in shower when I was planning a few days away.

MRI scan very very noisy and had issues about ear plugs.
I went for MRI scan to look into my inner ear yesterday and after wards my hyperacusis was louder. I went home and could hear all the different banging, clanging and thudding sounds of the machine all night long in my bed. I knew beforehand there was a risk so I took my own ear plugs which were superior

Epidural Fibrosis
Anything new with the EF? Some days I get so fed up with this pain and it feels to be progressing more and more. It makes me so depressed but I fight it. I don't even feel comfortable talking to my NP anymore. Being the fact that I will be like this for the rest of my life and on pain meds for life.

Cut the grass
It's only a little patch but I didn't think I could manage it, it was very long too. However I did and it got easier as I progressed. I had to have quite a few rests. Now, an hour later, I feel much better than this morning. When I was in the Brompton for a week and really doing nothing my blood pressure

What are your thoughts?
For the last couple of months I have had onset of low
back
pain with no
injury
. Two days ago I started having pain just under my diaphragm on right side. Prior to this cancer which was an accidental finding I would just wait and see then most likely contact my family doctor if it worsened.

A foot
injury
set me
back
in February and now I'm hovering around the 68-69kg and it's getting me down. I have the annoying tendency to binge between about 8 and 10 o'clock at night when I'm feeling down on myself and need to break this cycle quickly.

Hello there, it's been a long time since I have posted. Mum is in to her 6-7th year of PSP Mum has totally lost the ability to speak but in stead she is constantly shouting just noise to speak. This is very upsetting as it's obvious that she wants something and yet it's so hard to find out what. Has

I'm new here. I was recently diagnosed with ET. A question about onset of symptoms and fatigue.
She thought that my leg pains were most likely due to an old lower
back
injury
that I had. Because I was still a little worried about circulation and a possible blood clot I self medicated for about 2 weeks with daily low dose aspirin.

Bridge to 10k w1.....again
Back
running today after my calf
injury
. I've had a few weeks off and have been quite apprehensive about starting again. Decided to start the B210k programme again, seeing as I only got to day 1 the last time and tore my calf muscle! Anyway today was very very hard going.

Injury during week 4
It's all going to plan so far, I'm just wondering if anyone else had an
injury
during the training, and if so how far
back
did it put them? I'm really hoping to be back to it by the latest end of next week, but Imy really worried my fitness levels will have dramatically dropped!

Two weeks on
So I have been taking the trametinib for two weeks now and I thought I would post a little update. The first couple of days I felt really sick shortly after taking it. I have to take it at the same time every day on an empty stomach with a full glass of water. The sickness has settled down but I have

Ankle injury, where to go back to?
Hello! I graduated c25k early Feb and since then have been doing 2-3 5k runs a week, slowly trying to increase distance. However I appear to have a tendon injury in my left ankle and could barely walk after Saturday's park run 😥 I'm taking a couple of weeks off running to recover. Does anyone please
