Things are looking up...
Been stuck at the 5 k or under mark and have been hoping to build
back
up to 10+ again super slowly to avoid
injury
again but didn't have the oomph to start increasing distance - I've been going too hard with my runs and losing all my momentum in under 5k.

So happy. Reached the end of week 7!
After a break of 10 days because of yet another
injury
, was delighted to get
back
to the plan and finished week 7 today.

Adult colouring books
This is such a good therapeutic way to help dealing with any kind of brain
injury
, in my opinion and takes me
back
to my childhood when I loved colouring even right up to leaving school.

Fibromyalgia and other wonderful illnesses
If the State ever walked in and saw a nurse in a wheelchair with her med. cart tied to the
back
, I would have been long gone. The second
injury
I incurred was when a psychotic patient threw me against a wall and proceeded to strangle me. It took 5 people to get him off me.

Bloody eye
I have PMR, diagnosed in 2013. Taking pred, and holding for past 5 months at 5 mg. two weeks ago, I decided it's time to try to reduce a bit, so began to take 4 mg every other day, alternating with the 5 mg. Things are going well, no indication of flare! I'm happy! Until 4 evenings ago, I took one

Hope everyone's runs go well this weekend and if you're stuck on the

Advice
My partner had to watch me over night because of my head
injury
. I got better and things went
back
to normal. One day I was out and all of a sudden I felt dizzy, sick, panicky etc, and had to be drove home.

Absence
Have not been able to run for about nearly 3 months due to chest infection and
back
injury
. I find myself almost scared to get out there again. Scared of the out of breath panic. I keep telling myself to get out there but I just can't get the gear on and get out.

Dulera
It is so frustrating to work with DRs when you have a lung disease. I was told that IF I have COPD, it's probably mild, but Dr thinks it's now asthma. Switched my meds again, this time to Dulera. Still do not feel any benefits. Does anyone else here use Dulera? And if so, do you suffer side effects

Nothing fishy!
The Australian Taxation Office suspected a fishing boat owner wasn't paying proper wages to his deckhand and sent an agent to investigate him. ATO AUDITOR: "I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them". Boat Owner: "Well, there's Clarence, my deckhand, he's been with me for 3 years

Citronella Oil
Good morning all I recently invested the princely sum of £7.98 to get two garden candles on the obviously ridiculous assumption that it might stop raining at some point & we could sit outside for 10 minutes one evening. Anyway in spite of my ludicrously optimistic & fundamentally flawed thinking I've

Working up to 10
Research suggested it was a peroneal tendon
injury
, which implicates overtraining, but when I swapped
back
to my old knackered trainers, the pain didn't happen. So I'm going to try to get my gait reassessed in case it has changed since I started running, and the new shoes no longer suit.

A wonderfully rainy run - not far, not fast...
I'm still not
back
at week 8 yet following
injury
3 months ago, but at least I can now get out for combined long walks/10-15 minute runs. Had a lovely run in the rain today and really enjoyed a very watery jog down our old railway line (now a cycle/bridle way) with my fourteen year old son!

PIP RECONSIDERATION....
Got my reconsideration for Pip a few days ago, was another zero points of daily and mobility. This time the DM said in summary I opened a door with right hand...I am left handed with left hand and lead with the left. And as far as I can remember my daughter opened all doors for me. My diary and

Finally off the injury couch and back to week 1 run 1 (take 3!) Yaaay!
Tried a few weeks ago with week 1 then sadly limped
back
to the
injury
couch as ankle was having none of it. Since then,I have been doing ankle strengthening exercises at every opportunity: in the queue at Sainsburys, waiting for the kettle to boil etc and it seems to have worked.
