Week two done (take two!)

Thoroughly enjoying getting back to C25K after my enforced nine weeks off with a calf muscle injury. Went back to the very beginning again (I was on week 5) and can say it is easier second time round . At least, I haven't shouted at Laura to let me stop yet!! It's good to know the ropes , and I really appreciate the slightly warmer weather now. Mind you, still seems to rain every time I go out and my running jacket and even my hat have been used! Leg is still heavy and stiff and I hope I am not doing too much too soon, but will see how it goes. Hoping I can cope with the three minute runs next week! Oh and I want it warm enough to wear my new short sleeve top and capris!!

Welcome back Hilary. Just keep it all nice and slow and stretch.

Thank you! Yes I think since the leg got less painful I have been a bit sloppy with my stretches. ..... Thanks for the reminder !

Best of luck, it can be really scarey returning to running, but take it easy, ensure you do your warm up and cool down religiously, and add stretches to your rest days. Fingers crossed that you'll be OK.
