Get back up and running after injury
I completed the couch to 5k at the end of December and on my final run I twisted my ankle! I was only able to start running again in the last few weeks, but because of the work done already, I was able to get back to the 5k really quickly and now ready to step up to the 10k. I feel so much better now

Out of the Loop
Hi All, thank you for your lovely messages and PMs. Yesterday was a very, very difficult day for me since I had my first Covid jab. An opportunity my husband didn't get by a matter of days / weeks. Had my son not been with me I would have driven away. The advantage of my hysteria meant I jumped the

Chronic pain
Hi, I have had 4 Prostrap injections and now gyny has discontinued and put me on depot provera. I’m really sick of the pain I’m in every day! I have just been to Sainsbury’s and to a couple other shops and have had to take myself to bed with ankle, leg and hip pain. Does anyone else suffer with this?

Hello MPN community I was diagnosed with PV in 2020. I am JAK2+ and am currently being treated with Phlebotomies as needed and baby aspirin . I am thinking about going on low dose Busulfan 2mg per day or 500mg Hydroxyurea.I would appreciate any input on side effects . Does it help fatigue or add to it

Heart rate
Just started
back
after a year off due to an old
injury
, just finished week 5 & started week 6 today. Was dreading it but it went well. Quick question about heart rate most runs it ranges between 122-182 this includes my brisk warm up walk & cool down walk. My pace is really slow.

Back running again! Finishing week 3 today :)
Really missed running and am thrilled to out on my feet again, little worried about the
injury
coming
back
but really like the way the course is structured so fingers crossed I can keep the pain away. Just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar themselves and got back running again?

Well after a
back
injury
stopped me completing the course and then really couldn’t be bothered to get going again in 2020. I have again set the challenge to go for it in 2021. This time with a back brace to prevent any niggles with my back.

What causes sudden hearing loss in one ear? Then it comes back..
Hi Folks! Posting this for my wife who is ironically an Audiologist. She gets like every 6 months hearing loss in the left ear suddenly that lasts a couple days then comes back. She also told me that she had Tinnitus for a long time..many years... She had a coworker test her since they are Audiologists

Sprained Ankle and running 🏃♀️
My question is to those who have had similar experiences, how long after the
injury
they were able to get
back
to running just so that I can think positively as you can imagine I am desperate to go back out but don’t want to jeopardise the recovery!

Where should I resume?
I finished week 4 and then got a
back
injury
do I've had 2 weeks of rest. I'm planning on doing a run tomorrow but wondered if I should start at week 5 or if I should choose a different starting point. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😁

Friday Rambling
Hello again all, We've arrived at the end of our first week of 2021 and almost a full week of lockdown in UK, and I hope this ramble finds you all feeling OK both physically and mentally. Covid figures are astoundingly high and it's now really common to know of a friend or relative who has fallen victim

Eustachian tube dysfunction
Does anyone have any hints or tips on how to ease this? I have to breathe through my mouth all the time if I breathe through my nose all I can hear is my own breath and it's driving me bonkers! My ears often block up too which makes hearing difficult. I have also self-diagnosed hyperacusis and tinnitus

Great feeling to have finished W9 r3, especially after getting a
back
injury
when I got to W8 r3
back
in September. I had to go back to week 4 and repeat everything I'd already done, in some cases more than once, but I got there in the end.

Scientists discover how COVID-19 virus causes multiple organ failure in mice.
UCLA researchers are the first to create a version of COVID-19 in mice that shows how the disease damages organs other than the lungs. Using their model, the scientists discovered that the SARS-CoV-2 virus can shut down energy production in cells of the heart, kidneys, spleen and other organs. "This

Time to be sensible!
My HM for June has been looming in front of me taunting me since it was postponed last year but it's time to be sensible and try to get
back
to normal running and not risk
injury
by pushing too hard. So today I contacted RunForAll and have modified my entry for another race.
