Wk6 R2 and now experiencing knee pain and back ache
I warmed up double, done some restorative
yoga
stretches before and after... 🤔 Feel like I'm aching in places I never have before.. Hoping this calms down as its all new, but it is worrying me.

New here, question on blood pressure, fatigue
I am 58, eat healthily (no meat), active, work out, do
yoga
etc. I hate that I had a heart attack at 57. I haven't seen any recent posts on blood pressure or heart issues, and wondered if anyone else had been diagnosed with a MPN after heart attack?

YWA MOVE Day 13 - 18: following in all of your footsteps!
deadlines and multitude of meetings took over my life to such an extent that in the evenings around my
Yoga
time I fell asleep on the couch several days on a row, only waking up to slouch exhausted to bed!

Buzzing, Tingling Static
I am doing an online CBT course, try to do relaxation exercises and online
yoga
. I do try and meditate but find it difficult. Wondering if it will ever be able to habituate, especially to this 'head static'. Thank you for reading this, I know it must be difficult for everyone.

Sense-check, Hashi Swings, and inability to lose weight
I also do daily 20-40 min of flexibility (Pilates,
yoga
, targeted Strength&Flexibility workouts, etc). History of Medication and my Hashimotos-Swing: My thyroid prescription is for 100microg Levo per day and 10microg Lio. But in reality, I now take 100microg Levo and 20 microg Lio.

Muscle strengthening lowers risk of death from all causes.
Last thing I should do is carry a child, but I can do the
yoga
, push ups, and the like. Use it or lose it. Best of luck exercising all the major muscle groups though.

wonderful Free zoom Yoga through a research project
The health education content is provided asynchronously (accessed when it's convenient for you), and the
yoga
is offered live, 2 x week for 1hr and 15 minutes. The study is 8 weeks in total.

Habituating well, 4 months in. The key things I have learnt
See the sights, swim, cycle, walk,
yoga
, stretch, dance around the house, weight lift, just try it for a 2 week period and see how you feel. 5) Relaxation. Your limbic system needs to calm down in order to get the benefits of all the above. This is key.

YWA MOVE Day 25 - 30: the ultimate!
Additionally there were quite a few more Pilates-like movements with repetitions (do clams exist in the classic
yoga
-verse?), and this I personally enjoyed.

Keep moving! :)
Hi all, I have a friend who's a
yoga
instructor - she does lots of work for people with disabilities and movement disorders. Since the pandemic she's been doing her classes through zoom. During the first lockdown she helped me with exercises - so I thoroughly recommend her.

Joint & tendon pain on Aromatase inhibitors
I know I need to get back into
yoga
for general health improvement but this joint paint is not touched by OTC meds. Again, thank you in advance for your help and input…thankfully, the Anastrozole and IBrance are still working after nearly two years so I hope I’m not rocking the boat.

How much do you know about your own amazing nervous system?
And yes, this is all
yoga
!
Yoga
is not just movement. It is breath, movement in embodied ways, feeling and deep self enquiry. All these components dance and weave together to create change -transformation. This is why it's so helpful to understand your own cellular conversations more.

I would like to continue with my

YWA MOVE Day 7 - 12: heating up!
Is it just me or is it getting hot on our

yoga
posts here: I noticed only quite late that the calendar didn’t have “weeks” but rather 6 day rows!

MRI of head - my (good) experience - weird images though
I was calm and did my
yoga
abdominal breathing exercises. The scan (noise!) lasted around 15 minutes. I did not open my eyes until the nurse said I could sit up. I removed my ear plugs, and I left the mobile scanner unit.
