Woah! Penultimate row! (The confusion between weeks and calendar rows is still throwing me off!)
I have to admit I’m one row behind, still struggling with fitting Yoga into my daily schedule full of work, rowing and the usual daily stuff.
But that is the nice thing about this YouTube offer, it will wait for me if I don’t manage the one day or the other. And even better, reading about all of you fellow yogis out there being a few days ahead of me, I really get excited to do these sessions! Can’t wait to do “Snuggle”!
So, on this the next row of Yoga sessions!
As usual:
Onwards and upwards with YWA’s MOVE and feel free to share your joys and struggles by reply!
I am here.... JUST.... a bit like you trying to fit everything in and a tad behind with things.
Red January is testing me; as the weather is nipping my runs in the bud and I am having to do a lot of indoor strength and stamina work... and get walks in where I am able! I have not used a Yoga as my daily exercise on there yet, I am continuing to be innovative...!
Despite all , I am enjoying and I am incredibly, considering a few issues , feeling very relaxed.
On we go x Good Luck everyone!

🤣yeah, it looks so easy doesn’t it? It’s also a no-no for me, and when hubby does it, all his veins in his face become visible. 🤣🤣 so it somehow doesn’t look easy when he does it, which is -somehow-satisfying to watch! 🤩🤣💪
Got to say, I’m really enjoying this 30 day series and I’ll definitely repeat it later in the year. Today’s practice, Explore, is good - I felt really strong . Still waiting for demon hip dips!
I have got behind a couple of times and then used the weekend to catch up, life is busy but I try my hardest to fit it in the evening.I think this has been quite a demanding 30 days this year although I like that they are just mostly under 30 minutes 🙏🏼
Anyone enjoy bento playing peek a boo from behind the pot xx
I've started looking out for him - grinned when there was just a paw poking out into the edge of the shot yesterday! His markings are very cute - looks like he's wearing spotty socks!
Loved loved loved today's session. 😍I wasn't really in the mood at all having spent an hour trying to get my internet to work.. successfully in the end thank goodness. But it was great despite the scary looking mountain climbers pose in the email 🤣
Doh! She fooled me! 🤦🏻♀️🤣 Forgot about watching out for the tracksuit!
But admittedly I was doing the easier versions with half mountain climbers and half sun opening kind of things, so knees on the ground to still save my toes.
Not much to report really. Apart from the ab-erration of a few days ago, I've continued to really enjoy the practices, some lovely flowing sequences that nicely varied and just right for fitting in at the end of a busy day. I'm definitely feeling stronger - I feel it particularly when doing chatturanga.
Day 20: did this with hubby. It was actually a bit to fast for me and my props, as I need to be shifting the props into position constantly (knee padding). So that was a bit complicated. Also I did down dogs but only half mountain climbers. But I like the focus on full body stretches.
Day 23: Did 22 yesterday, 23 today and this latest has also some new poses, such as the supine gi crawl to twist! (I first twisted more complicatedly into the wrong direction and wondered about Adriene’s ease, until hubby pointed out I was doing it all wrong! 🤣)
We also managed to do the yoga at 7:30 am, having slowly moved YWA into the morning, with my rowing being after work before dinner.
Let’s hope the getting up earlier in the morning to shower and then do yoga sticks. I love doing yoga second thing (after shower) in the morning but I don’t like as much getting up that early. It’s a process. And hey! That’s tomorrow’s (day 24) practice!
Day 24: this was a nice one. And I can feel my metatarsals getting stronger by the day now (after my IC period of metatarsal healing). Down dogs are now fully possible again and I’m consciously stretching my toes (still gently but assuredly). Some planks I’ll do some I’ll do in half plank style.
Balancing was ok if I held a finger onto a shelf for balancing, but annoyingly I faced the other way and she didn’t talk us through it very much. So I ended up standing on one leg for too long and then having to catch up with the back kick flow.
Some of the flows are a tiny bit too fast for me still as I still am using and constantly rearranging blocks and blankets.
But I felt grumpy when starting this due to an early unsuccessful work meeting first thing this morning, but now after a 30min yoga session, I’ve got my peaceful bliss back.
