Waiting āimpatientlyā for my next run - on the IC for now.
so Iāve joined a kayaking and paddle boarding club which I am going to twice a week to keep me busy, still doing my
yoga
and stretches and praying I can get back to running soon.

I also do all the other good stuff gluten free,
yoga
, not over exerting etc etc. I do often feel drained in an afternoon, I canāt take a nap as I would like as I have the school run. If I take an adrenal cocktail - orange juice, potassium and salt, I instantly feel better.

To get signed off, or not to get signed-off, that is today's question!
- leaving work before 7pm, and generally prepping the ground for me to be less available than the regular 8am to 9/10pm that I was doing before, and prioritising
yoga
, choir, acupuncture in the evenings, things that matter to me and my stress levels.

A new stage of recovery
I started Saturday with 30 minutes pilates and Sunday with Adrienne
yoga
for back pain. I did a 20 minute exercise routine on my return both days. This morning I did 35 minutes of pilates, some stretching, a 5/5/5/5 session of walking and running. Last week's 3 x 3 minute runs were easy.

Daily anxieties carry over to bedtime?
Exercise seems to help but I cannot really go for a vigorous walk at 2:30am as much as I know it would help; In honesty, I have not tried meditation or
yoga
, due to my upbringing I have a deeply ingrained "all or nothing" attitude/mentality which is especially challenging when dealing with mental health

Update PMR 2 months since diagnosis
Yoga
(at home) has been a life-saver for me. Prioritising self care - relaxing baths (epsom salts), good friends and a wonderful husband (who cooks too!). For those of working age - how do you balance work and PMR?

A long oneā¦
I gave him a choice:
yoga
or walk. He chose
yoga
, which would never happen usually, so he is definitely sub-par. We found a 30m beginner routine for flexibility on YouTube. It didnāt feel very beginnery. Son was a bit floppy and kept falling over. He enjoyed child pose.

šApril Quest: Week2 Why do we run?
Hydration, diet, cross training, sleep, Pilates,
yoga
, walking, strength & flex, taking care of your feet etc You are not superman! Which one is most relevant and helpful for you to work on this week? āļøThat's the thing about running: your greatest runs are rarely measured by racing success.

QOL Arm wrestling
Next thing I knew she was out of her seat and putting the full weight of her
yoga
body on top of my arm as she pressed it into the table. She claimed victory and would not consent to a rematch. I could not stop laughing. This is one competitive Woman. I think I will keep her anyway.

new myocarditis MRI results; what now?
And from a practical, patients'-experience point of view, if you've had myocarditis, and continued on the rest-rest-and-more-rest plan, when did you feel good starting things like slow walking and
yoga
again? He gave no instructions on that side of things.

You've got to walk a little, talk a little... sit in the sun and rest a little...
I have always enjoyed
yoga
, but not a fanatic, but have done classes , in the past... I have done many of the YWA challenges too, posted for us by @CBDB...and currently, I am finding
yoga
very helpful and versatile too.
