Daily anxieties carry over to bedtime?
Exercise seems to help but I cannot really go for a vigorous walk at 2:30am as much as I know it would help; In honesty, I have not tried meditation or
yoga
, due to my upbringing I have a deeply ingrained "all or nothing" attitude/mentality which is especially challenging when dealing with mental health

đApril Quest: Week2 Why do we run?
Hydration, diet, cross training, sleep, Pilates,
yoga
, walking, strength & flex, taking care of your feet etc You are not superman! Which one is most relevant and helpful for you to work on this week? âïžThat's the thing about running: your greatest runs are rarely measured by racing success.

Disappointing news
I've always been careful as most runners are and due to dance and
yoga
have good balance for age. I don't know if anyone has had a similar experience, but I'd be pleased to hear about it and how they coped with it, including any medication. Best wishes.

Tibetan Rites Challenge starting on Sunday
The Rites are said to be a form of Tibetan
yoga
similar to the
yoga
series that originated in India. However, the Five Rites (and traditional Tibetan
yoga
) emphasise "a continuous sequence of movement".

What is our cerebro-spinal fluid?
I believe too, one of the many reasons yin
yoga
is such a healing and settling practise over time, is the beneficial effects on the CSF. Enjoy your explorations....you are your best teacher... Ciara Wholly Aligned

Any suggestions?
I have not been able to do any work, voluntary job,
yoga
classes, other interests recently. I have planned basic activities and then time to sleep/recover daily. Thoughts on what I can/should do now?

post run recovery drinks or food? Or rest?
On rest days I walk, do Pilates
yoga
and have recently started weights (which my be another reason why Iâm more physically tired) but Iâm wondering if my diet needs more of something. I find it naturally hard to sit still for long being a bit of a fidgety type. All ideas and advice welcomeđđ

Twenty minutes in the moonlight-thank you Couch to 5k!
Five minute walk home, an online
yoga
video as a cooldown stretch, bath and a big smile. Getting out for a run at the moment isnât feeling easy but after a few more runs like this, I know it will. If you havenât done week 5 run 3, youâve got a treat coming up.

Exercise after laproscopy + hysteroscopy
But I was wondering when I could do things like
yoga
, Pilates, running and general gym things. The nurses didnât really say much when I left, though I was still a bit groggy from the anesthetic and there is not much on the post lap care sheet on anything past 48 hours.

Joined my 1st ballet class yesterday
In my past life before PMR I did a bit of
yoga
and Zumba; however this was a new experience for me and I loved it. My muscles were a little stiff and fine movements were not so easy but it didnt matter.

Friendship and loneliness in IVF: how do you stay connected?
I was thinking about joining a group or something (
yoga
?) so it's less about the talking and more doing. Any tips or stories you have would be great. Sending lots of love, good vibes and digital friendship đxxx

Not sure how to proceed with anxiety and depression
I want to make changes so that I feel better (
yoga
, exercise, journaling, therapy, etc.) but sometimes it all just feels useless when I know that at any time because of life events the feelings can return. Does anyone else relate to this? What do you all do during these periods?
