New AN - what can you do to help yourself!
I have found
yoga
helps the balance and walking - although it's a bit unpleasant at the time and cocooning myself feels far preferable!

One year anniversary!
A year on, I’m running 3 times 5K per week, followed up with
Yoga
and Pilates. I changed my diet too and have lost 3 stone. It has changed my life. I cannot express what the running has done for my health and my head.

Trying to get over a recent episode of high anxiety
I've tried everything: affirmations, meditation,
yoga
, deep breathing, walks in nature, walks with my dog, medication - none of this has helped. I am in therapy and have been thru a 2 week partial program in a group setting which seems to have been the most helpful in reducing my anxiety.

Coping with fibroids
I am taking lots of natural supplements and eating organic clean foods with wheatgrass smoothies,
yoga
to ease the spasms and tension. It’s becoming a real battle and some nights I cannot sleep with pain, only can lie on my back and the frustration of how hard all this is is making me break.

Sports bra
Any recommendations for a comfortable bra to wear during
yoga
to keep my heart pacemaker covered and immobile. Many thanks.

Atorvastatin and joint pain
Today I tried to do some
yoga
exercises and it proved very painful and I had to stop. A month ago it would have been not a problem. I am quite active and regularly walk more than 60 mins a day and more at weekends. 6 miles walking not unusual. I am 66 years 5ft 9in tall and about 73kg weight.

PMR flare or not so gentle yoga?
I have been wondering if maybe if I just strained them since I went to a gentle
yoga
class a couple weeks ago that was not so gentle. I thought I would wait it out a bit before talking to my rheumatologist to see if it passes, but i worry about brewing inflammation.

IVF round 2..... 4 years on!
My personal challenge to myself is to get back into
yoga
and walking over the next month in the lead up, so that I feel physically ready. I am nervous about it all. I guess I am curious if any other ladies who have had a similar gap in cycles (4 years) saw a big change in protocol/dose of meds?

yoga
, this is reflected in the ida and pingala nadis - energy channels that wrap around the sushumna nadi - the central channel. Pictures bring this to life so beautifully. Depicting more of the subtle body. What is not seen, yet is very much felt.

20+ Terms That Explain Living with Arthritis Part 2
Have you tried
yoga
? Have you tried turmeric? Have you tried going vegan? Have you tried stuffing crystals in your bra and panties while snorting kale? While they are coming from good intentions, some of the advice people give can be completely out there and dangerous to our health.

10 miler done
I’ve started stretching 3 times a day now and doing
yoga
, which I think will give me a better chance of making it than pounding the pavement 6 times a week!

Opening up to 'spanda'. Sacred pulsations
Being very drawn to the tantric histories, the teachings were much more about
yoga
for the householder, men and women. The physical aspects came much later in Hatha
yoga
. Tantra is non-dualistic, meaning all paths within it remind us of unity. That all is one.
