Yoga

I have been going to yoga for the last 25years but when I started with PMR (9 months ago) I stopped classes. I still did the basics at home as the PMR allowed but now I have restarted classes I feel it's aggravating my joints - just general aching not full blown etc.

How does yoga help PD? Not complaining, I look forward to Friday Yoga all week. I see how PD-boxing helps and I see how Tai Chi helps but how does painful bending help?

What are the best yoga poses for beginners?

hey gang, pre diagnosis I got super into yoga during lockdown. Like everyone else I swore that I’d uphold and did not 🙄🙄. Now I’m coming out of hospital after fluid retention and some muscle atrophy. If anyone has any yoga resources or tips, I would gladly welcome them. Thanks in advance

Also my arthritic hips hurt less perhaps because of the yoga - unexpected side effect! My 87 yo mother does the Yoga with Adriene - the 10 minute sessions on a chair, so I heartily recommend them to anyone who has been told to get moving.

I take a yoga class that I love. Fabulous instructor at a great price. The issue is music during class. My instructor plays great music which I would normally love. The problem is that she plays some songs with words (singing). My ADHD brain can't follow her instructions while singing is going on.

Everything I wear almost.. sports bras, pants , stretchy yoga pants, socks, bracelets… they all leave impressions on my skin. Anyone else ?

I've been looking into getting into some kind of plus size fitness, possibly yoga, pilates or Zumba. Anyone have any experience with this? Is one better than the other to start with?
