Walking #1: a new adventure begins
I had thought those days were gone, as I had firmed up my core through
yoga
and rowing. Ex-runner hubby and I had a chat during that time. Walking, we agreed, was something so basic; if one cannot do that, it has the potential to make life much less enjoyable.

Drink plenty of water while on Vyvance and possibly other ADHD medication might help you.
When I started drinking lots of water and doing some neck and shoulder
yoga
/stretches. It pretty much all went a way. I was so grateful. And then then later I told the doctor that I could feel it sometimes but it wasn't that bad, and that's when we found out I had arthritis in my upper back.

Do you find Yoga helpful in managing OCD? #WellnessWednesday
Yoga
has also been shown to improve cognitive function, mood and aid in managing stress levels. I'll take that! Especially since I am admittedly terrible at meditation. Have you tried

before? Did you find any benefit? https://www.treatmyocd.com/blog/can-

Fatigue and exercise post laparoscopy
I’ve started doing a bit of
yoga
which I feel has helped but was just wondering what other people have found to be useful exercise / at what point they’ve started doing more strenuous or core exercises? Even though Im feeling pretty good pain wise and back to myself, I am suffering from fatigue.

Tales from the IC (#12): Strong knees and cute toes
And they are also more flexible, with
Yoga
and post run/row stretches having worked their magic. I can do extended child’s pose with ease, it’s a really relaxing pose now. (It wasn’t when I began my
yoga
journey 2 years ago).

Slow start to the week
I did a
yoga
stretching session and took paracetamol but they were still grumbling when I woke up. So today the plan was to just go very, very easy.

Walking #2: what if I could learn to love to walk? And Stride!
So here I am, post-menopausal, thyroid challenged, but thanks to our sister-running forums and my now two-year-long practice of running,
yoga
, and rowing I feel relatively fit. But walking still gives me a pain in my backside, and I want to change that! So here I am. A walking newbie. Again.

Your body is incredible. How connected to that are you?
Yoga
is one cohesive system that I love. There are so many ways in. Ways in to remember who we are. What lights us up. What truly matters. All of them braid and weave so beautifully. Nutrition, movement, breath, sacred living.

Weekly Chat Jan 10th - 16th 💋 Are you a high maintenance runner?
I've also been doing
Yoga
With Adriene's 30 Days of
Yoga
, and have been wondering if she's going to be wearing 30 different outfits... Which leads me to this week's ponder! I spotted a Facebook post last week that amused me, it was called "How high maintenance are you?"

Recovery from gluteal tendinitis
I still feel a bit stiff going up and downstairs and standing on one leg, but have been doing gluten bridges
yoga
and Pilates whenever I can. I’m desperate to get back to running as I’m putting weight on and feeling very unfit. Any ideas where to start with a phased return to running?

People of HealthUnlocked - Parkinson’s Disease: “Life is never the same”
I never felt that I fully recovered because I always had such terrible stiffness, pain, and difficulty walking in spite of doing regular
yoga
and leading an active life.

Tales from the IC (#13): Running vs Rowing, muscley toes, and recovery plans
But for now, I’ve focussed on
yoga
and rowing, having just completed the RowAlong’s 30x30min challenge ( https://rowalong.com/30-days-of-30/ ) and got my fabulous certificate (see pic).

Good start to Monday
We had to climb over a fallen tree at one point, and towards the end I skidded on some mud but miraculously kept my balance, all these
yoga
workouts are obviously doing something. Finished the run in 1:11:17. My overall pace was slower than on shorter runs but I think that's to be expected.
