Post COVID

Hi lovely people.

I have just turned 73 and have recently had COVID. I’m full of aches and pains.

Particular issues with my piriformus muscle.

I did try a short very gentle run after not running* for 4 weeks but ended up in a night of pain.

I do Pilates tai chi and yoga. Are there any other suggestions both about motivation and management.

Thanks 🙏🙏

Have you thought of swimming Granny49? I found it was the only thing that helped my knee get strong again. Good luck and hope you get back to running.

Recovery from Covid can be slow and long term for some, regardless of age and former fitness, so be patient, listen to your body and build back up again nice and slowly.
