Semaglutide et al
There has been a certain amount of hype over Semaglutide & other diabetic drugs that are being prescribed off-label for
weight
loss
. One doesn't have to be a Hollywood actor to be interested in
weight
loss
. The actor is merely interested in his livelihood.

Losing weight boosts chances of ablation success
I would suggest that this should be a criteria for an ablation, insufficient
weight
loss
then no ablation.

Ketogenic Diet
It’s working for
weight
loss
but I had a one minute instance of AF two days ago and my resting heart rate is up by about 8bpm. Does anyone know if keto is okay for AF sufferers?

Fibre in the diet
The secondary problem is that I am trying to lose
weight
, I will go on to
weight
loss
plans and immediately they say you can't eat white bread, up your brown bread, porridge, yogurt, fruit, veg etc. This will all set me off.

not going too badly either - 9lbs down now - and my latest HbA1c is almost back intothe pre-diabetic range...............so, all in all, looking pretty good 👍👍

BioMax Red Light Therapy
https://platinumtherapylights.com/products/biomax-rlt Any users of these panels on here? Can apparently improve mitochondrial health so I’m seriously considering investing. Wondered if you thought worth your hard earned cash and time. General health benefits? Any noticeable PD improvements? And

Endometrioma but without having endometriosis??
I am having pain, back ache,
weight
loss
etc . I was referred by my GP for a scan to see what's going on. Found a 5cm cyst Sep time and rescanned in December and still there . I was referred to Gynaecology after my first scan as also have a bicornulate uterus , which I knew nothing about .

ovarian cancer symptom?
In February this year I became unwell with raised GGT,
weight
loss
, fever terrible headaches, malaise and random abdominal pain. To rule out ovarian or liver cancer (!?) Dr arranged gastroscopy which found nothing. Four months on omeprazole and watch and wait until end of June.

feeling overwhelmed
We have had her on medication ever since, and besides slight
weight
loss
, she's done mostly well. I struggle myself with feelings of overwhelm regarding her ADHD. I just wish I could take it away.

Possible IBD?
I have no family history of Crohn’s, no noticeable blood, and no
weight
loss
or fatigue. I know that people here are not doctors but I’d love to hear your thoughts. Apologies for such a long post.

Could I have portal hypertension
URQ pain, fatigue, malaise, GI issues with poor absorption (streatosis looking stools) and bloating,
weight
loss
, shortness of breath. But after no raised LFT levels (only low B12) and after USS and CT scan and upper endoscopy told liver and pancreas and bile ducts and gall bladder fine.

Overweight with a high BMI
Also if anyone has any ideas on how to shift weight whilst being on Zoladex injections and HRT that would also be greatly appreciated because I'm really struggling and way behind on the
weight
loss
if I'm to have this operation. Thanks in advance Em_46

Trying to get my health on track..
I need to do what I can as my initial
weight
loss
was to help with mild sleep apnea which has crept back. Just need motivation and tips on pushing myself even when I feel drained which is most of the time at the moment. I did used to be very active.

What do you guys do to stay away from external influences that bring you down in your
weight
loss
journey like this? It’s really not as simple as “unfollow” them.

For anyone who is on T3 only... When did you realise you needed it?
Some of my symptoms are better (mental health GREATLY improved, periods normal for first time in 5 years, physical body fatigue better, improved appetite, no more bradycardia, little bit of
weight
loss
, less palpitations) However the symptom I have found the most debilitating through this whole journey

Baracitinib and Semaglutide
Semaglutide, known as Ozempic for diabetes or Wegovy for
weight
loss
. Can’t find any interactions listed other than to be aware that because Semaglutide delays stomach emptying, it may affect any medication taken orally. Just wondered if there’s anyone taking both of these drugs together…

PCOS, Insulin Resistance & Weight Loss
In the upcoming weeks I will find out what the results are and hopefully a plan to help me on my
weight
loss
journey. It has been really hard to lose
weight
yet, I am still overweight for my age and height.
