Weight loss supplements
I would like to ask if those ads of
weight
loss
supplements (tea, liquid drink…) have any effectiveness. And if yes, how healthy are they? Anyone here has experienced it, suggestions / recommendations would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Fibroscan today
Hi all I had my 4th fibroscan today My results were kpa 11.8 or 10.5 CAP 317 The CAP score has gone down since last year, so that’s some good news I’ve been dieting really well however this week with no sugar at all apart from what occurs naturally in some meals… I’ve not lost an ounce, little disheartening

Worried about weight loss.
I’m worried about my weight since being diagnosed with lung cancer. I’ve always been slim, 50kg but now I’m 45kg. When first diagnosed I lost my appetite, but the last 2-3 week’s I’m eating a well balanced diet. I don’t eat sweet stuff and I’m mainly vegetarian. My Doctor has also given me some nutrition

Weight loss without trying, anyone experiencing this too?
I had a massive heart attack and 4 cardiac arrests on 13th October. Whilst in critical care I lost quite a bit of weight which the doctors said is normal, however, when I left hospital I continued to lose a pound each day for quite a bit. Although it has slowed down I am still losing weight. Yes I

High tumour marker in liver - worrisome Christmas
CT scan showed: tumour markers on his liver were remarkedly high hence symptoms of
weight
loss
and pain, etc. Specialist said he will organise an appointment with the oncologist asap and let us know by next 24 hrs. Chemo therapy is high on the chart to treat this liver situation.

Help with diagnosing gut issues that suddenly started 18 months ago - Related to sub-optimal B12?
- Less as the weeks / months go by - (I think as a result of the above) -
Weight
loss
- With my current diet (see below) I have lost over 10 kg from an already skinny weight of 72 kgs
Symptoms I do NOT have
- Nausea - Vomiting - Diarrhoea
My Current Theory
Something is going on

I dared to question a beautician re B12 injections....
She did say she wanted to support those diagnosed deficient but who don't want to self inject, rather than promoting B12 from a beauty
weight
loss
point of view. Thoughts?

Trying to Understanding Light Therapies
Blue light (wavelength 405nm-420nm) provide a very superficial penetration even with a high-intensity narrowband light source. It is primarily absorbed by the epidermis of the skin. Once it is absorbed, blue light targets P. acnes by stimulating porphyrins which then produce intracellular singlet oxygen

Co-Managing Depression and My Other Chronic Illness
“
Loss
of energy, changes in
weight
, difficulty concentrating, and decreased appetite may all be things you experience when managing chronic illness.” And even those who do recognize they have depression may direct their energies elsewhere.

Want to share my experience....from many years of IBS and now IBD.
The minute I explained my
weight
loss
( and all the symptoms) he said I would need a colonoscopy which because it was rapid
weight
loss
could be done on the NHS. I fact, the colonoscopy was done one week after seeing the consultant (mid October).

My post is lost?
I wrote a post and thought I'd sent in but can't find it now. So a repost: I saw Dr Bortan today for a Botox treatment of my tremoring left arm. She asked how the Botox is helping. I said there's no wrinkles on my left arm. Then I mentioned I can't do a pull-up because my grip is weak. She suggested
