Ferritin level information
I have seen numerous claims of “check your ferritin level, if it’s <100 you need to start taking iron.” Unfortunately, it’s just not that simple. That guideline has not been established. I have confirmed this with my RLS physicians. He said ferritin level is only 1 component used along with transferrin

Help & Advice Needed
Flu like symptoms, Hair
loss
,
weight
gain, extreme fatigue, low mood and now since november time severe pain in my joints particularly my knees and wrists. I call them flare ups as these symptoms seem to come on around the time of my 'time of the month' and last for about 5-7 days.

Weight Loss
I am worried about how this will impact my ckd and she said she didn't know but would do some research and that I should talk to the
weight
loss
doc about it. I know I have to lose the
weight
, the pain from the bone on bone hip is horrible and getting worse.

My immune system was in shreds, and something unexplained was causing rapid and severe
weight
loss
with fatigue and weakness. I was in constant, unretractable pain body wide. I had developed 'atrial flutter' which caused a very rapid pulse, and I had constant, blinding headaches.

Thyroid Test Results - Thriva
These include hair
loss
, tiredness, lack of drive,
loss
of libido, struggle to maintain
weight
. I’ve had my results back and Thriva says they are within normal range and I could do with taking a magnesium supplement. I just wondered where to go from here.

Are My Arteries Getting Worse?
I've gone from low 40's to low 30's with
weight
loss
, exercise, and a healthier diet, and what's more I've kept it there for nearly five years.

Aps and topamax?
I recently saw a
weight
loss
dr to try to get some help getting some stubborn
weight
off and she prescribed me phentermine/topamax along with eating well and exercise. Things were going well until my legs and head started hurting a good bit.

Frustrated with Weight Loss (Especially with Belly Fat)
Getting friends, writing, and now
weight
loss
. The Navy Body Fat Calculator is telling me that I am 9% body fat but I don’t trust it. I am sorry if it comes off as me being disrespectful or delusional. But maybe I am 9% body fat but I don’t look like it.

Fluctuating T4 pre-treatment
After a GP blood test that was deemed 'normal' despite nearly 10 years of feeling awful with all the classic hypo symptoms (fatigue,
weight
gain, hair
loss
, freezing all the time, heart rate of a slug etc.), I asked for the actual results and a previous test from 4 years ago (also 'normal').

a bit more concerned now......
Weight
loss
and change in bowel habits saw me have a colonoscopy and CT scan. Colonoscopy was normal - a month later I am still waiting for the scan results. At the hospital they found traces of blood in my urine. I feel like I am mithering people but I feel absolutely dreadful.

MF progression??
I saw my haematologist on Thursday and she commented on my
weight
loss
, paleness and I definitely have more fatigue than a number of years ago. Is there a likelihood that as I have lived with ET for so long, there is a greater possibility / probability for it to progress...?

Does this sound like Fibromyalgia?
Hello all, sorry for the long post but I am doing some health detective work! I have not been diagnosed with anything yet but have been having loads of tests for a weird combination of symptoms that don't add up. Recently the muscle issues have caused me to think this might be something like Fibromyalgia

Where to get T3 from a decent supplier.
However i am still experiencing tiredness,
weight
gain sore muscles and depression not to mention hair
loss
. Asked my GP if he would check my T3 levels and he refused saying it was unnecessary. Am from the UK and i believe this is a normal response.
