Diet advice please! Low carb vs wholegrain carbs...
I felt it was the easiest and most effective
weight
loss
strategy I'd ever experienced. I then stopped atorvastatin for 2 weeks due to an incompatibility for the antibiotic I was prescribed (GP's advice). I then kept away from the statin until the blood test.

Well, something must work.
I have been inundated with sales pitches for this or that
weight
loss
"secret". I am in my 70's and have been overweight most of my adult life. I seem to lack the discipline to get skinny, and I hate feeling hungry and a loser at the same time, so I quit.

Fasting
I understand that losing weight too fast is dangerous for the fat liver, but assuming you can fast and keep a slow and steady
weight
loss
rate, is that still bad for your liver? Thanks people!

Ketogenic Advice please?
But I have been on it a long time (for a neurological reason, not merely
weight
loss
) and am kind of worried about the effects of doing that. Anyone know anything about this? Do you feel sick? What about taking endogenous ketones? (I've never tried them before.)

Sun and skin
I know we have plenty else to concern us just now. This is not a warning, just a researcher's insights into the interaction of sun and skin. And who knew about phototherapy in autoimmune disease? https://www.theguardian.com/science/2021/jul/11/prue-hart-sunburn-skin-melanin-sun-protection-uv-cancer
