I have low amh and am currently in IVF treatment - unfortunately it looks like my ovaries are not really responding and I will have the current round cancelled on Tuesday.
My question is, if I want to try and lose weight before a next round of IVF (I'm currently around 2.5 stone over my 'healthy' BMI), which diet would be best? I'm considering both Slimming World and Joe Wicks but if you have other suggestions that would be great to hear too.
I've had success before with intermittent fasting but I don't think this would be good for the eggys.
I'm 38.
Thanks so much!

I find Slimming World really good, I’ve lost and kept off 7 stone. It helped me to take back some control over the choices I made around food, without any restrictions on what I could choose from.
I also found intermittent fasting helpful as I got closer to where I wanted to be, but agree it’s maybe not the best option.
hey, I did carb low before my 2nd FET and (talking in kg as I find it less depressing than stone) I was about 7kg away from a nice healthy weight too. It’s mainly cutting out sugar and I dropped easily and safely at least .5kg a week (roughly 2lb) - and when I got pregnant had lost about 3kg so halfway. I didn’t stay on it for pregnancy but actually in hindsight it would have been safe enough to mainly stay on it. As very late on I developed GDM and then I controlled it with a diet of carb low.

I would recommend "Whole 30" or "Hashimoto's anti-inflamatory diet". They run from 30 to 90 days. With the 2nd one, I was losing weight like crazy. Good luck on the next round. I never really responded to stims with my low AMH, as only 1 egg would come out per cycle regardless of what I was on.
