I had a similar thing in my 30’s (I’m 66 now). Really uncomfortable / painful stomach with vomiting in the morning. I had loads of tests all inconclusive. It was tough, throwing up is exhausting and disrupted my life, I was wound up by it all especially as there seemed to br no real reason for it all.
My GP put me on amitriptyline, a mild anti-depressant with excellent pain killing effect, within a few weeks I was back to normal(ish).
Loooking back, at that time I was very busy and really stressed at work with other issues at home, now I can feel when I’m overloaded and then take time to rest and never get too bad.
