SURPRISE SURPRISE GENTLEMEN
Apart from abject embarrassment, I was actually relieved to hear this news for not only was it nothing sinister - yes 1% of men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, when I next go
swimming
, one exercise I love, and get the curious stares I will have the knowledge it is nothing I can help!

Not Running,
I took a break over the weekend from running, and went
swimming
, I took part in the 750m Swansea Swim which was part of the Swansea Triathlon weekend, there was a 3000m and 1900m swim but the 750 was my distance, the atmosphere was amazing, everybody had smiles on their faces and were genuinely friendly

112 days post SCT
I begged the doctor can I return to
swimming
in the ocean which he agreed probably because it’s all I ask every-time I see him! I’m mostly feeling ok- occasional nausea and unfortunately I got GVHD in my mouth- so I have to keep on top of that.

Increasing exercise and swimming
Hi, as I am feeling a bit stronger generally I was thinking about increasing my exercise and perhaps going
swimming
once a week. I used to be quite a strong swimmer and always swam breaststroke.

Body Reform programme
I am going to meet my target, in fact I am going to smash it, added
swimming
and stationary bike. A lot of protein in my diet, carbs as well, only for lunch. Greens lots of them. A gallon of water a day, creates its own issues!

Nike Run Club 10k Plan…Week 1 liftoff!
I’m already doing a good amount of strength and flexibility work at the gym and cross training too (
swimming
, spin and Zumba) so I should be set up to have a very nice time with it. So far, I’ve watched the intro from Coach B and downloaded all my runs for the week.

Can PMR last for 5years+?
He recommended
swimming
, physio (35 week waiting list) and co-codamol. Stopped pred end March. After a few days grace, all hell broke loose with resumption of what feels like exactly the same symptoms as 5 years ago. Severe pain head, neck, shoulders, collar bone, ribs, hips, knees.

Updates on icd and swimming pool
I posted the same question in "living with an icd support group" on facebook. More than 80 people answered, only one lady had been shocked due to electrical interference. She was in a pool with under the water lights being repaired.

AbFib after 2 years free
I had my ablation in 2021 and have had 2 wonderful years completely AbFib free -
swimming
, cycling and Pilates, all ok. Yesterday I swam in a 19 deg. natural spring water 50m lido pool. It was v cold at first and tiring doing the long lengths.

Can rheumatology refuse referral for diagnosis from GP?
I need to try and claim PIP as I don’t have sufficient funds to follow recommendations made by the Bath clinic ie diet and
swimming
. Will this be sufficient for PIP?

Weight gain and Pred
Up to this point I led an extremely active life ; traveling , walking,
swimming
and caring for my elderly mother. At the present time I’m trying to put things into perspective and balance . Ive gained 10 lbs in the last year and am struggling to take it off.

Problem is I don’t want to be left with damaged heart and shortness of breath as I love my

Swimming
aerobics Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday off. Gym Friday. Then take my dog for long walks at the weekend. Last year. None of this was possible. Wouldn't even thought of walking to my slimming world group just 5 mins away. After all. Isn't that what a car is for. Now I walk most places.
