finding hope and joy
I’ve recently found some joy in cooking again, and gentle exercise - walks,
swimming
, yoga. Right now I’m just trying to find hope again, after so much heaviness. If anyone feels like sharing tips for finding joy and hope after grief and loss I’d be most grateful .

I'm also a

Swimming and Spa day during stimulation
Hi Everyone Just wondering if it is safe to have a spa day during stims? I started mine on Monday and got a free pass for a local hotel to use their steam room; sauna and pool. Just wondering if it is safe to do so during stimulation?

swimming
for a while and I thought I would have ago at the C25K. Well I am nearly at the end of week 3 and it is going so well.

I found it really hard at the
swimming
class today to know what to do, half of me is thinking we shouldn’t go again, but I don’t want to not to everything he doesn’t want to do as I really want to teach him things like
swimming
and o know later down the line I’ll feel like a bad parent for not doing

Was doing ok then it all came back
Well yesterday I went
swimming
and the panic feelings came back. I had a pretty rough day with anxiety and thinking this was never going to end. Didn't sleep well and woke up with more anxiety and suicidal thoughts racing through my brain. I keep thinking how much more of this can I take.

Overdoing it?
Three weeks' warm sunshine and some peace and quiet and I lost half a stone and got to regularly
swimming
a mile a day and clocking 10,000 steps. I dropped to 10mg (from 12.5/10 alternative days) on 7 December (2 days after I got back).

I've started
swimming
again and trying to be more active in general but you know, pmr! I'd be grateful for any tips or suggestions. Sorry it's so long, I had sarcoid 20 years ago and was on steroids for a out 7 years with no problems that I knew of except weight gain.

GPA and swimming pools
Hi all i am planning a holiday abroad soon and wanted to know if anyone with GPA has been advised by their consultant against going into a
swimming
pool. I have GPA but been in remission for about 2 years. I am still on azathioprine daily.

Thank goodness for our NHS and BHF
I thought I was fairly fit and healthy, walking 1 hour a day, twice a week yoga,
swimming
and generally active with my 4 grandchildren. We eat a good diet, no takeaways, no alcohol and I gave up smoking more than 20 years ago.

Glaucoma & Tinnitus
I thank you all for your responses regarding my question about
swimming
(with Glaucoma). I also have tinnitus (high pitch ring/hiss) and am curious to know if anyone is experiencing this as a consequence to having glaucoma and/or due to the eye drops.

Fitness/Heart-Rate wrist bands/watches suitable for over 60s?? Any recommendations?
., that's waterproof (for
swimming
), has a large enough screen for me to read, and not too complicated - I don't want to make calls or send messages, don't want to pay a monthly subscription fee. There are SO many online, at various prices.
