Knees (again...)
I started
running
only 8 months ago, I am 52. I started as I have always seen people of all shapes, sizes and ages
running
but I have not been able to. My brother in law even managed it and he is rather lazy and unfit.

WEEKLY CHAT: June 3 to 9: Almost Holiday Season!
But, I digress…..
running
!! HU10 concluded (except for our eagerly awaited medals), so what next? For me that is easy. I need to finish the last couple of weeks of my HM plan with CB. Recent runs have had a greater focus on pace, and I am moving more quickly(less slowly!)

Completed Couch to 5K but not feeling as elated as I thought I’d be.
It’s just me,
running
around my local field, listening to the great Steve Cram and crying, tears rolling down my cheeks, pretending to the dog walkers that it’s the wind.I am really hoping that I can continue
running
and I will gradually get fit enough that it doesn’t send me crashing each time.

Interview request: $120 to you
To this end, we are

London Vitality 10000
I’m writing this on the train home (so excuse the wobbly writing 😆) on Monday the day after
running
the London Vitality 10000. After parkrun on Saturday we got a train to London and to the hotel. Very excited to be
running
in this event for the second time.

Week 8 Runs
I'm also
running
on the day after a very long day's work. My toxic ten yesterday seemed to be the worst I've had yet. The thought came to me that I might want to stop and reschedule.

Stress fracture
Basically I have been
running
for 4 years approximately now and have earned myself a metatarsal foot stress fracture 😩 I have now been given the all clear to start again very slowly. I know common sense should kick in, but unsure how far to go for the first couple of runs.

shoe porn alert!
birthday present from my partner 🙂 After a few years of loving Brooks Adrenaline, I found the 23’s a little too firm in mid section, so after lots of brilliant advice from local
running
shop and lots of trying on etc. these are my new Mizuno shoes that will hopefully see me completing c25k comfortably

Weekly chat Nov 6th - 12th: what did you spot on your run? 👀😎🏃
Photo: a few 'spots' from my run this morning Hello lovely
running
buddies. How’s your week been? Being away at the moment, my current
running
environment is all new to me.

reduction uncertainty
That goes after the steroids kick in so obviously the dose is
running
out earlier than before. Unless this is the adrenal problems already? So is it in one go or space it over a few weeks? Thanks in advance for your help.

first 20 mins run everrrr!!
week 5 run 3 - taken me about a year on/off
running
and many repeated runs but so proud of myself for keeping at it. first time i’ve ever exercised (semi) consistently and feeling really motivated in other parts of my life now. :)) never thought i’d complete a 20 mins run with no breaks let alone enjoy

Running
is a huge part of my life as and I am finding quite difficult all this uncertainty. Can anyone tell me more or less what are the actual dates and how long will I be without doing anything so I can more or less prepare for it mentally? I know this sounds silly...

Polyneuropathy and vitamin B 12
I put this to the test accidentally by
running
out and was surprised by how much the pain increased. Not expensive and worth trying.

I didn’t know if I’d be able to come back…..
This damage was caused by my
running
gait. My legs sort of ‘fell in’ and put undue pressure, strain and impact on these muscles. I was advised that although I had done everything correctly as regards the
running
programme from C25km right up to 10km, my core was weak. I did nothing for 6/8 weeks.
