Ezetimbe hell
It was terrible permanent headache, sinus pain and my nose was
running
, blocked and sneezing all at the same time. I felt lifeless and apathetic. I stuck it out for 3 weeks before I gave up. Within 36hrs all problems had gone. Still on the statin no appreciable side effects as far as I can see.

Then I kicked my own arse and went and got my
running
gear on, swigged a pre run gel, set my podcast up and away I went. Week 8 first run. And although I have been managing the 25 mins runs fine, for some reason, this one seemed more daunting.

Run rheumies run - running for us
Hope this is allowed - spotted this on social media. The Leeds Rheumatology Runners are doing a 10k dash at the weekend and this time it's in aid of PMRGCAuk. I think I recognise at least one of the faces despite them being hidden behind masks (Dr Mackie) , as I'm a patient at Leeds. They're not far

Short-term tactics to keep PSA in check
My anxiety (and it's
running
rampant currently) stems from the PSA scores. Currently, I'm at my zenith: 121. I still have no symptoms, but I worry about the spread of mets and the rising PSA. I feel like I'm in a race against time.

It begins again!
I have completed it twice before, the first a few years ago and continued the
running
up to about 7-8k (I was planning for a half-marathon) but then the pandemic hit and I very much reverted to the couch.

I think it might be winter
Up until now I've been
running
in a short sleeved t shirt and 3/4 leggings and maybe gloves. Today I dug the full works out of my drawer.
Running
jumper, cold weather leggings, woolly hat, gloves and...where's my buff? A silk scarf had to take its place.

Parkrun!
As the kms passed, I found we were overtaking a few people, and despite
running
at a sub-7m/km average pace, which is much faster than my usual pootle (at least 25 seconds per km faster), I felt ok! Such is the energy that
running
at these events gives.

running
on empty and really cold all the time. I enclose the results which all look normal could it be low cortisol which I had done a year ago. I've been through major stress and operation plus other health problems.

Just running... Just a bunch of runners...Just beautiful. Warning: Floss Ramble.
I have been
running
... not far, certainly not fast, but I have run. I have, unusually taken my NRC chum with me on most of those runs. The reason for this, being, I needed the company. Times and circumstances meant that I needed some guidance and some slightly formalised
