I have started Couch to 5k again today! Please wish me well...
I have completed it twice before, the first a few years ago and continued the running up to about 7-8k (I was planning for a half-marathon) but then the pandemic hit and I very much reverted to the couch. I also completed it last year and consolidated for a couple of weeks but then picked up a groin strain which impeded most things. I have kept up regular walking but want to get back to running for my mental health. It does feel good to be back on the plan again 😀
Photo is from the sunrise on one of my walks earlier this week.

🍏Welcome back & thanks for the exquisite photo!! We do get picturesque skies at this time of year!
Please stay in touch and let us know how the runs go!! A reminder that you need to run slowly to avoid injury and build up those muscles gradually. If you huff and puff it’s a sure sign you need to slow it down some more. I
t’s a very good idea to do a little strength & flex to keep injury free. Will post you a link!
Good luck with the journey! I will be joining you also. Was thinking about hopping back in around week 5 but might have to go further back!! Graduated this year, and then life got a bit hectic, I lost my momentum and have stopped for about 12 weeks. Can feel how much fitness I’ve already lost. Be great to hear how you get on.
