Sometimes you see the oddest things out on a run
I may have been
running
before breakfast but I still wasn't tempted to take one 😂

Tonight I tried
running
with a headlamp. Probably the wrong kind, as in too heavy. The
running
became jogging, and then a fast walk. But before that, something ran across the path ahead of me. A fox or a cat? I couldn't tell.

4.2km Cold Run 🥶
Warm long sleeved
running
top, warm winter
running
tights, neck buff, woolly hat and gloves. I finished off with a lightweight wind proof jacket. This was perfect for the
running
conditions. I wore my new trail shoes, (oh they’re so nice) thinking that if it was a little icy, they would help.

Anybody use the gym?🏋️♀️
🤣 I loved the gym in my ‘youth’ but don’t want to lose precious outdoor
running
time. However, am thinking it could be fab for strength training. Posted on Bridge too. Thanks🙂

Back relief
Still don’t ‘enjoy’ the
running
bit; well I say ‘
running
’ but it’s jogging at its fastest, plodding otherwise! But have a sense of achievement and have been good at sticking to three times a week.

Deflated. Is it even running?
I think I should be feeling pleased with myself as I managed the 25 min jog without pausing but when I look at my pace, around 10’40” I find myself thinking ‘ can I even call that
running
?’ and I think I feel a little deflated. I’m 67 and have never run before.

Good run
How many 74 year olds actually get out
running
or even exercising, with the exception our good friends on HU.

over pronunciated ankles
When I first started I went and had the gait analysis and was told that my ankles were over pronunciated (feet tucked away not under the ankle) sooo, would buying
running
shoes to compensate for this allow me to carry on relatively pain free?

Ramblings from a calf strain sufferer
But amongst the three main activities I do (
running
, rowing and walking), walking is the only one which really stretches the whole posterior chain, and gets the ankles in positions that my Japanese slow
running
and my rowing never does.

2023: W17R3 - personal log: Maintenance run :-)
I wanted to keep
running
today, but I haven't slept very well this week, so I just chose a "maintenance run" due to fatigue. I will extend it next time :-) Happy

HIIT and Running (Does it Work?)
After only two weeks of that fun my uphill
running
has improved to an extent that I don't lose breath when I previously did, I run faster because I have more available oxygen to play with and I recover faster simply because I feel (and probably already am) stronger.

Auntie/niece time 🏃♀️🏃♀️
My niece, in her mid 20s, announced that she'd like some
running
shorts for her birthday. This came as a total shock as she's very artistic and most years I buy her paints, brushes etc.

Bruised Tendons ??
I usually go
running
on a Tues, Thurs and Sat but wonder if it's best to leave it tomorrow night and hope I can go on the parkrun on Saturday. Does anyone have any idea how long it will take to ease up, and is it just a case of rest and ice etc. I don't want to lose fitness by not
