Ezetimbe hell

I was given Ezetimbe along with a statin after my second heart attack. It was terrible permanent headache, sinus pain and my nose was running, blocked and sneezing all at the same time. I felt lifeless and apathetic. I stuck it out for 3 weeks before I gave up. Within 36hrs all problems had gone. Still on the statin no appreciable side effects as far as I can see. But difficult to be sure as I have a muscle wasting disease so muscle pain and weakness is normal.

I took my last one on Sunday and already I'm feeling a lot better! Shoulders still hurt but my mood is better, my foot doesn't hurt as much and my chest ache is going. No more of these for me! I tried cutting in half too but still no difference. I'm away next week so will tell GP when I get back.

I was on Ezetimbe a long time ago had to stop because it made me anemic I was peeing blood (not gushing) but slight tinge of blood … horrible stuff and actually had issues on every statin I have been on except Livalo this stuff is wonderful its dropped my LDL by 50 points and My Cholesterol by 50 points and I have absolutely zero side effects.

I am sorry you are having all these side effects. After my second MI in April of this year, Ezetimibe 10mg was added to my Rosuvastatin 20mg. I am currently not having any side effects. Please discuss your side effects with your cardiologist and maybe they can change the medicine.
