Running with the club 🥵
It’s been such an hot day and I didn’t think I’d be able to cope with
running
. So I dithered must of the day about cancelling. But I so enjoy meeting up with everyone. So I decided to go.

ROWING 500m Plan (RowAlong)
He was never interested but took up
running
a couple of years ago, after I gave him a LordOfTheRings conqueror challenge for his birthday. So I am hoping that he will also fall in love with rowing! Happy working out, everyone!

I dreading
running
this morning after my foot injury but strangely that wasn’t the problem!! It was the OTHER leg that played me up. It felt like a lump of dead wood dragging along behind me. The calf and back of my thigh were quite painful even though I had stretched before going out.

I am one run away from completing the program hip hip hurray... but the longer runs have caused a new niggle.
Im comfortably
running
(or rather jogging) for 30 minutes now which is fantastic ✨🙌✨ this is what dreams are made of. Im so very pleased. However, a new niggle has developed in the top of my right foot after these longer runs.

My first mini jog today
Yes it was only for 5 minutes ( lol) but just
running
felt brilliant ,followed it up with a 3000m stint on the rowing machine ( 500m at pace of 2.30 ,1min break), heart rate went to 128bpm but recovered really well. All under the guidance of cardio rehab instructor. It felt great.

🎉 5th Runniversary 🎉
In my haste to make my runniversary post I neglected my tradition of adding a photo of old
running
shoes going to the shoe (recycling) shop in the sky! This pair survived about 1200 km of
running
and lived for another 300 to 500 km walking and hiking 😯. This is unusual.

Leg pain and struggling to run in the cold
Im not sure if this is because of
running
in the freezing weather or something else. I will repeat the run so as not to cheat a run 😂 but wondered if there are any tips for dealing with what feels like a build up of lactic acid in my legs.

Long time no running…
I have just realised it’s been five years since I last did C25K. a lot has happened since then, weddings, too many funerals, Covid and a hip replacement at aged 50. My question to you all, is there anyone on this forum that has completed this course post hip replacement? I have not run since it was

2024: W30R1 - Shorter trip today in -10°C
I'm glad I didn't give up
running
today. How it will be this week is not at all certain. I probably won't be able to run on Friday. So we'll see. :-) Happy
running

HU 10k with a parkrun thrown in
The plan was to find my way from Woking Railway station to the park,
running
a few km before doing the 5k parkrun then carry on
running
around until I reached the magic 10k.

Back After 4 Years!
I first started
running
back in 2018. I was doing quite well and heading for the 10K runs. Then, sometime during Covid I fell off the band wagon. I am back again more determined than ever to stay on track.

B210k week2 run3 completed
and for the first time in ages it felt like I was
running
instead of just dragging my feet along!!! 😁 Maybe it was because it was earlier, or cooler…. Or maybe because I have been told to double my BP tablets now and have taken them for the last 3 days ….

I had a week off due to cold and asthma flare up but did a run last Sunday and it was great 😊 Is
running
once / twice a week enough ? In any case I really enjoy
running
- something I never thought I would write lol
