I dreading running this morning after my foot injury but strangely that wasn’t the problem!! It was the OTHER leg that played me up. It felt like a lump of dead wood dragging along behind me. The calf and back of my thigh were quite painful even though I had stretched before going out. BUT I still ran and I did the full 3 X 18 minute runs albeit not quite as fast as I would have liked.

I wore my cap pulled down quite far on my face but still managed to burn my cheeks while I was out. It was perfect running weather, although I could have done with slightly less of a breeze blowing in my face in the way out, and it was nice to have the helping breeze behind me as I battled home again. But after the last couple of days of rain I am not complaining.

So hopefully my foot will have recovered completely by Wednesday for my next run. I had to use my massage gun quite ferociously on my leg muscles when I’d got home and showered though. Let’s hope that does the trick 🤞

Ouch and ouch... ! How painful was the run...not enough pain to halt you? If it is, as you say, maybe just see how it is before, you think about running again.

It may be worth getting it checked out by your GP or sports physio? The calf and the foot and the thigh , all sound like something going on!

I have Greater Trochanter Syndrone or Bursitis as it used to be called and I slept on that side last night which aggravated it. I usually slather myself in Ibuleve if it’s achey but didn’t this morning. I was more worried about my toe/ foot and as it was that was fine!! I need to book another visit to my chiropractor and get her to sort my lower back, that usually keeps it at bay for a while ( I am hyper mobile and suffer with sub locations) but I have been so busy with mini breaks , hospital appointments for myself and my sons, and also annual drs review and Asthma review. Hardly has time to turn around.

Must put it at the top of my list AFTER my MOT tomorrow AND hospital appointment on Tuesday 😳

Oh gosh,,, I should have remembered! Addled brain after a few days holiday! I knew you had issues but forgot.. sorry!

What an absolute pain, literally and now the foot, which I hope, you will get sorted soon! I empathise with appointments, we are back now, and Mr OF has so many this week, I do not know how we shall handle it!

I do apologise and I really hope you get YOUR need seen to, really quickly x
