Strange question
So after I
quit
smoking
you all, like I can only eat small amounts or it feels like I'm going to throw up. I still get hungry like normal, but I eat say two tiny sandwiches and it feels like I've eaten at a all you can eat buffet. So bad I have to lay on my belly....

Crybaby
I've
quit
smoking
, wondering if meds might be causing it. Any Input? I can't stand to be around myself even.

So relieved!
I told her I
quit
smoking
and the little "devil" (anxiety) creeped by into my life. She was so wonderfully nice🙂 I told her about this wonderful support group and she advised me to continue to use this site.

NRT - how do I give up the mouth spray
Hi Everyone, I
quit
smoking
on 19th January 2016 using patches and the mouth spray. I only have another week or so on the patches before I give them up but I think I'll find it harder to give up the mouth spray. I really want to be nicotine free but the mouth spray is so moreish.

Frustrated:(
I've been 1 month without cigarettes and e cigarettes and I don't feel any better? I was expecting to feel healthier and look better but my skin has got worse and I am so achey and tired and anxious all the time, still getting shortness of breath and headaches and I've had all the tests I can, everything

2 Days in... Exhausted
Quit
smoking
2 days ago with help from Champix and Nicorette QuickMist. My quit date was April 1 but decided to just stop when I stopped feeling like cigarettes. Ran out and decided to just not buy another pack..

Day 9.......
This has been the worst and hardest day of my
quit
so far. I've spent all day, ALL DAY, obsessing about
smoking
. I feel broken, exhausted, yucky, angry, grumpy and crap. It has taken all of my resolve to not smoke today.

1 months smoke and e-cigarette free!
So pleased that I'm now 1 month free from horrid smoking and nicotine! Feeling a little better each day....anxiety is still horrible though. Today is bittersweet as although it has been 1 month since I gave up smoking...it has also been 1 year since I lost someone very close to me from cancer. My boyfriends

Improving COPD
Hi all you quitters 😀 I thought you may be interested in this small tale from a reformed smoker. Some 2 years ago, just after quitting after 40 years, I was diagnosed as having COPD (mild to moderate emphysema) I was particularly happy about this...strange you might say?.?? Well it turned out to be

Going on Insulin
I then woke up and drastically overhauled my diet,
quit
smoking
and took up exercise lost 3-4 stone. Loving Life but even so my sugars never drastically reduced were always high readings They then said my thyroid was damaged and they hoped it was this causing my sugars to run high.

Step 1 - ashtrays gone!!
Hi I just joined this community today, looking for motivation to stop smoking - I am diagnosed COPD, which should be motivation enough, but after 40 years as a smoker and a reluctant retirement a couple of years ago, I have been struggling with a 'what's the point?' feeling about life & stopping. Today

Food cravings changing???
I
quit
smoking
for 2 weeks tomorrow and am using the patch. Its still beem difficult but I believe that the NRT is helping me with this battle. Anyways. I am wondering if any of you have noticed that you are craving different foods as a non smoker than what you used to crave when you smoked?

5 weeks (10days nic free)
5 weeks ago I was ready. Patch on, determination at the forefront of my mind. I have tried several times to quit before, but always felt I was 'giving something I enjoyed up' This time it was for me. I wanted to feel better, smell better and be less anxious. I used the clear niquitin patches for 25

Anxious and worried again about lung/heart damage. Searching the internet for answers, but only making me more scared. Similar stories help!
I
quit
smoking
4 months ago and since that time I've noticed my breathing is a bit more taxed and I just feel a bit funny. It's almost like I've been swimming in a heavily chlorinated pool all day, my lungs just feel gunked up.

Relieved
My granddaughter went to school and told all the teachers my tummy was so big because there's a baby in there and that's why Nanny isn't
smoking
anymore. I'm into my 8 week of
quit
and been back to the Doctor I cannot believe I have only put on 2 kilo.
