Day 55 - having tightness in chest
Hi all, today is day 55 for me and I am having tightness in my chest. I guess it's anxiety, but I don't want a smoke or am I craving one. It's just a weird feeling. I have this nervous energy. I have been going to the park for a walk, exercising, and doing my deep breathing but I have been having

I am thankful for you all.... I see the many members over the year leave here after quitting and that tells me it has to get easier and better...... My anxiety issues I brought along with me upset me because these are not your problems and I'm not your problem and it makes me feel so down..... If

Just thought I'd say hi. X
Still nicotine free and loving it. Post quit weight (68lbs !!!!! 😱) lost and am now fitter and healthier than ever. I retired this year as my back is still giving me problems, I spend my time in the gym and making jewellery using seed beads. Quitting wasn't easy, I had my up's and down's just the same

A sad day indeed
Today I have learned that a beautiful friend has died. This amazing lady dedicated her life to caring for the sick and elderly. She lay with people to comfort them in their last hours and gave herself to the needs of others without thought to herself. Today a beautiful person has been cruelly been taken

Well this is the longest I have ever managed to stay off nicotine and I'm happy to report easier breathing, concentration at work getting better, clearer skin, no yellow stains on fingers and of course not smelling like an ashtray. My question is I have two weeks left on champix but am starting to

Sleeping marathon
OK - I'm at 30 days on my Cold Turkey
quit
(
smoking
and alcohol) and I'm sleeping like it's an Olympic event! I'm not drooping with fatigue, but could easily have several naps during the day, despite having got 7 - 8 hours sleep during the night!

Coughing, wheezing,,need sleep
Hi all, I'm back! So I'm happy to say that I've been smoke-free for 5 months. However, I still have a big problem though, I continue to cough on & off during the day, but my biggest problem is waking up @ 3 or 4 am to use the bathroom ,then the endless coughing begins. Soon after the 20 minute coughing

Quit Smoking
I stopped smoking on the 31/3/2016 after being a smoker for 14 or so years. My teeth are really sensitive...it is nice to actually taste food a bit better but a pain to eat. I wonder if this will fade or smoking has number my mouth so much that I have ignored going to the dentist for so long....

HELP!!!
So it's been awhile and today I'm feeling so bad....all I want to do is go to the shop to get a box of fags and smoke one after the other. Last night I also felt this way but said no I'll get last this. I need ye're advice. My GP took holidays and never wrote me up for a repeat prescription for champix

Testing one two!!
Hello everyone, Never in my puff (excuse the pun) joined a forum of any description, so why now? 10 days and counting. Wow! Writing it down is strange. Not completely nicotine free as using an E-cig and the very lowest liquid - 0.3 mg. It's definitely helped me out for the first few days, which
