Tough time
Quit
smoking
24 years ago. In addition to inhalers, was on klonopin or xanax daily for 2 years. Quit cold turkey about a month ago with no problem. Never, ever took more than 1 mg. per day. They did help with anxiety. Inhalers don't seem to help much.

Hi all,
Quit
smoking
three weeks ago cold turkey. Started at 18 in 1990,
quit
in 2000 for nine months (gained 50lbs), and was
smoking
a pack a day since. Have a 3 year old boy and a non-
smoking
wife so decided to
quit
, wanted to quit, had to quit.

OVER THE MOON WITH MY LATEST CRP RESULT
. 😊😊😊 I
quit
smoking
5 weeks ago. I’m so excited, finally a bright spark, can’t wait until my next monthly test. If inflammation markers continue to drop it tells a story for me at least, that I can not and will never smoke again.

Severe Discomfort. Could it be cancer?
As I said before I did
quit
smoking
2 weeks ago and I
quit
eating and drinking heavy amounts of caffeine a month ago. Has anyone ever had symptoms like this?

33 is also a terrible 3!
Now that I
quit
smoking
, I run slower than I did when I still smoked. Significantly slower. Like I went from 8:45 per mile to 10:00 per mile. This makes no sense to me. Ugh. Stay strong peeps.

Update
My friend said to drink a lot of water and
quit
smoking
, which I don’t even smoke that much anyway because I live with my parents who don’t let me smoke in or around their house. But I’m nervous.

New diagnosis of hbp
I also
quit
smoking

Levothyroxine absorption/ used to work well but suddenly stopped after years of good experience.
The only thing I can think stopped the levo from working was that I started
smoking
again :( I have since
quit
cigarettes again and tried to get my endo to prescribe the 25mcg again however I’m in that dark hole now where all I get from him is that all my levels are fine.

Spirometry and diagnosis confused.
I
quit
smoking
8 months ago. I exercise every day which did even before I started to have issues. I weigh around 10 stone maybe a bit more since quitting the ciggies. I eat home mostly home cooked food, with the occasional takeaway curry.
