Speed, gradient, running shoes, all secondary. It is time to address the real issue
Ambitious enough to lose 20kg body weight over the last 5 months, keen to finish the C25K, already thinking about cross workouts and C210K, can’t bring myself to
quit
smoking
. I know the price of smoking, I pay it all day everyday, still can’t take my head off my arse.

Hey
And I
quit
smoking
almost a year and a half ago and I don’t want to go back to smoking ever. I’m currently prescribed pramipexole, but I'm allergic. So I have to take hydroxyzine too.

Hey guys it's been awhile since I've been on here I just like to say I did
quit

Well, if I can do it...
I had
quit
smoking
at 40, and have never been overweight...but still. I huffed and puffed the runs in the first few weeks and then a miracle happened – the huffing and the puffing lessened, just a bit. I started to look forward to run day. But still, I did not see myself as a runner.

Another Saturday night spent with anxiety
I
quit
smoking
30 years ago. And I always told everyone it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done I had been smoking three packs a day at the time. I wish I could quit anxiety. If I ever figure it out I will say quitting anxiety is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

Thank you! & Here’s my story...
I started getting sob after my wisdom teeth removal in 2016 (6 months after I
quit
smoking
). I get sick A LOT more than I ever have and just don’t feel right. My sob isn’t all the time but I would say once a month. I have regular phlegm production and cough.

I Gave up Cigs
My RLS has been almost non-existent since I
quit
smoking
cigarettes and weed on 1-20-19. If they bother me at all now, I can take Ibuprofen and it works. I have even successfully taken 50mg of Diphenhydramine to help me sleep (oxymoron, huh?).

A Doctor Shares How He Helps Smokers Quit Cigarettes
When questioned, many of these want to quit but it is not always clear whether they mean they want to stop
smoking
tomorrow or simply have a vague desire to
quit
some time in the future.

Radiofrequency ablation 11 days later
For a little background I am a 53 year old that
quit
smoking
over 15 years ago, former heavy drinker but practically nothing for over a year, and do battle weight control, but have dropped about 10 to 15% of body weight over the last 18 months.

Broken heart 💔
I graduated college, ate healthier and started exercising, lost a bunch of weight,
quit
smoking
... someone had come along and showed me how to set goals and achieve them again. They had brought back my motivation I had lost so long ago.

I feel guilty for being alive
I wanted to make my family proud of me, I
quit
the drink,
quit
the
smoking
, I started learning to drive but yet the guilt and shame is still there, strong as ever.

Day 19
On day 19 and
quit
smoking
cold turkey after 27 years. Stopped for lent which I think might be making me more determined, although I seem to be thinking about smoking more and more. Do these cravings ever stop? Don't want to spend the rest of my life thinking about ciggies.

Hoping to quit
I've got nicotine patches ready to
quit
smoking
on Wednesday. I'm worried that I'll lose my resolve and when Wednesday comes I'll be tempted to postpone my start date. Any tips please?
