I quit quitting
Hi, I want to
quit
and after numerous attempts find myself
smoking
again. I’m looking for a role model. Someone who has already quit who can regularly encourage me. Someone who knows all the sufferings cause they have been there.

wheezing after 4 weeks
this then developed into coughing and wheezing. always worse when i wake up and chest feels heavy and congested. saw the gp a few times and was given antibiotics which didn’t really help. i’m also a mild smoker for 20 years (42 now) and had a couple of cigs at night time during this phase. anyway, i

After 1 year no more digging!!
I am certainly glad that I have
quit
after 46 years of
smoking
. I was pleased recently when no tobacco day came along as it was the first one I had ever experienced. Actually it didn't feel any different than the day either side as a non smoker, A bit over rated!!!!

First Day of no smoking tomorrow!
I’m trying for the millionth time to
quit
smoking
. I have tried many different techniques but always end up smoking when I get to work due to stress or my 2 young kids. My children should be motivation enough to quit but it haven’t had the motivation I had before.

Quitting
I started my
quit
smoking
journey Dec 2016. Started with NHS
quit
service but to be honest the woman that mentored me did not have a clue as she had never had a cig in her life. However, after 6 weeks of trying really hard and having the odd sneaky fag I was given a
quit
smoking
certificate.

Speed, gradient, running shoes, all secondary. It is time to address the real issue
Ambitious enough to lose 20kg body weight over the last 5 months, keen to finish the C25K, already thinking about cross workouts and C210K, can’t bring myself to
quit
smoking
. I know the price of smoking, I pay it all day everyday, still can’t take my head off my arse.

Hey
And I
quit
smoking
almost a year and a half ago and I don’t want to go back to smoking ever. I’m currently prescribed pramipexole, but I'm allergic. So I have to take hydroxyzine too.

Well, if I can do it...
I had
quit
smoking
at 40, and have never been overweight...but still. I huffed and puffed the runs in the first few weeks and then a miracle happened – the huffing and the puffing lessened, just a bit. I started to look forward to run day. But still, I did not see myself as a runner.

Thank you! & Here’s my story...
I started getting sob after my wisdom teeth removal in 2016 (6 months after I
quit
smoking
). I get sick A LOT more than I ever have and just don’t feel right. My sob isn’t all the time but I would say once a month. I have regular phlegm production and cough.

Another Saturday night spent with anxiety
I
quit
smoking
30 years ago. And I always told everyone it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done I had been smoking three packs a day at the time. I wish I could quit anxiety. If I ever figure it out I will say quitting anxiety is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

A Doctor Shares How He Helps Smokers Quit Cigarettes
When questioned, many of these want to quit but it is not always clear whether they mean they want to stop
smoking
tomorrow or simply have a vague desire to
quit
some time in the future.

I Gave up Cigs
My RLS has been almost non-existent since I
quit
smoking
cigarettes and weed on 1-20-19. If they bother me at all now, I can take Ibuprofen and it works. I have even successfully taken 50mg of Diphenhydramine to help me sleep (oxymoron, huh?).
