Levothyroxine absorption/ used to work well but suddenly stopped after years of good experience.
The only thing I can think stopped the levo from working was that I started
smoking
again :( I have since
quit
cigarettes again and tried to get my endo to prescribe the 25mcg again however I’m in that dark hole now where all I get from him is that all my levels are fine.

New diagnosis of hbp
I also
quit
smoking
7 weeks ago so some of my symptoms may be withdrawals. Any insight is highly appreciated.

I
quit
smoking
8 months ago. I exercise every day which did even before I started to have issues. I weigh around 10 stone maybe a bit more since quitting the ciggies. I eat home mostly home cooked food, with the occasional takeaway curry.

I am an recovering addict, I have been clean for 15 months now and I also
quit

Almost 3 months clean - now a vacation
Thankfully my sister and bro-in-law
quit
smoking
decades ago. I have almost a harder time eating on plan than I do with smoking. So it will be a lot of fun but also a pretty sober vacation lol.

Exercise & cardiomyopathy
I am 58 years old who
quit
smoking
before 4 years and stopped drinking since May 2018. Life style changes of cutting down salt intake with a fluid restriction of 1 litre/per day was imposed right from day one. A review within a month reduced my LVEF to 36%.

So I am also on here for the
quit
support community for
smoking
. But thought I’d post here too. I planned to
quit
today and didn’t. I feel like beating myself up but that’s no help. Idk why I’m holding onto it.

Quit
smoking
two months ago before I was diagnosed and instead of feeling positive I feel like I’m just trying to stave off the inevitable respirators and pain. Sorry to be so dark but any kind words would be greatly appreciated.

Scared in the US (first post)
Btw has anyone heard of people becoming hypothyroid when they
quit
smoking
? I stopped smoking last August, and have gotten terribly sick since then. Plus when I stopped smoking for a half year in 2009, the same stuff happened to me, but nobody tested my thyroid back then.

Dry, tickly cough after quitting
I'm 33 and I
quit
smoking
14 days ago after smoking for 10 years. When I smoked I would smoke around 5 cigarettes a day, sometimes less and sometimes more but never more than 7/8 in a day (and that would be very rare). I'm using NRT patches, one per day, and they are really helping.

Smoking dreams and Chantix, schmantix?
I only started taking it because I signed up for a
quit
-
smoking
study and they are providing it, along with patches that may or may not be placebos.
