Gum disease and cigarette quit

Hello all 🤗It’s now 21 months since I quit smoking .I love it ❤️ but I’m still recovering from gum disease caused mostly by smoking . It doesn’t happen to everyone , unfortunately it happened to me .

I learned the chemicals and toxics in cigarets is what causes gum inflammation and low oxigen .

For those who already quit but are still recovering from bleeding gums just keep taking good care ! It will get much better !

A few remedy advises : First of all is to maintain exellent hygiene for extra cleaning and as a natural antibacterial ,massage gums daily with raw coconut oil . To reduce inflammation , rinse and switch with salt water,a couple of times a week . Regular dentist visits are important .

Thanks for sharing Hidden . I too suffered from gum disease and tooth decay and declination as a result of smoking. Unfortunately, I didn't go to my dentist until a year and a half after I stopped and cost me a small fortune treating the gum disease and getting root canal treatment done on 2 of my teeth. I still have to take the medicated mouth wash for the gum disease.

Definitely, a dental check-up is a MUST when you stop smoking 🦷💺 :D
