Calf muscle cramps?
I started C25k the week after I
quit
smoking
. I’m now W2R2. My biggest problem is not shortage of breath but severe calf cramps - I can just about manage 60s but I can’t repeat the 90s runs in full after the first interval. I realise this must be from clogged arteries from smoking.

How are you doing??
That I am so happy that I
quit
smoking
almost ten months ago. This would be a very stressful time to be trying to quit. Stay safe everyone.

Started this today and loved it
Hi everyone, Me and my partner both started the couch to 5K today as we have both recently given up
smoking
using the NHS
quit
to smoke app which is where we came across this app. 33 days smoke free and feeling great, now it’s time for another challenge to keep focussed.

G’Day All, I’m 45 ish, October I
quit
heavy
smoking
and started training 5-7 days a week then changed diet then tore a calf muscle, when that calf repaired I tore the other one. I have no one in my life which is ok but I don’t even have a goldfish as I work away so I do a bunch on my own.

Hi. I have been on 5mg a day of Ramipril . I am a bit worried as of late my pulse has been in the 55-60 range, and I am no athlete !
I have recently
quit
smoking
and started to eat better, but I am concerned of heart being to slow? Anyone had this?

Shortness of breathe
I
quit
smoking
36 days ago after smoking for over 40 years. One of the best thing I've ever done However, I find myself short of breathe even more now than when I was smoking. Is this normal ?

Disturbed sleep - pregnancy or stress?
I’m doing all of the ‘right’ things - I’ve
quit
smoking
, I’m taking folic acid and iron supps (vegan diet so iron levels are slightly lower). I’m really excited, but since I found out my sleep is awful!

Quit smoking
Does anyone find nicotine patches useful? If so to what extent? And do they compensate for the desire of the harshness of the cigarette.

One year nicotine free
Today marks one year. It has not been easy, well... the quit part was, the anxiety that was left behind has not been. But it is getting more manageable. When I quit, I read a lot about people relapsing, how hard and unlikely it would be to quit on the first try. I am so glad that I surpassed those odds

I really want to quit
For those who try to
quit
smoking
I have a question. Did anyone tried those patches, mouth sprays etc to help cravings? I'm thinking to go and buy tomorrow so I need to ask if they are effective. Thanks.

Scary aint it.
I walk hard, try to push myself, cycle a bit to help with fitness and recently
quit
smoking
.(Allen Carr, the easy way to stop smoking) just get real and read it. Sorry but I am just a long term smoker who is doing his best to deal with the self inflicted damage and am already reaping the rewards.

Weight Loss Before 50
I’ve been getting to the gym 4 times a week,
quit
smoking
and done Dry January so far this year, which I’m pleased about, I’m even trying to eat healthily but as soon as evening comes I just start to eat junk and lots of it.
