How do I add T3 to Levothyroxine
I am currently on 150mcg Levothyroxine daily and have some Tiromel which I am thinking of adding as since starting the 150 dose about Easter 2015 the initial increase in my FT3 has steadily gone down. When the weather was warmer at the start of September I felt more alert and able to get on with things

Helping a relative . . .
I guess I'm looking for advice from anyone who possibly has a success story to help with this. My mother has been gaining weight for years. Not sure of her exact weight right now but she's around the 22-25 stone mark. Her knees are suffering and requires knee replacement surgery but can't because she's

Arthritis in thumb joint
I have suffered from arthritis since my teens. Have two knee replacements which were done at an early age and have now been advised that I need my thumb joint fusing in my right hand. Can anyone advise me on the recovery time and possible outcomes of this surgery?

Losing weight with bad knees
Hi! I'm New here. I need to lose weight for knee replacement operation - I am 2 1/2 stone over my max weight and due for op over the next 4 months. My problem is what exercise to do due to knees! No high impact, even swimming is no breast stroke (my only one ha ha!) All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Knee replacement advice needed
Due to osteoarthritis I have been told that I need a right knee total replacement. However, I have been hearing some horror stories and told that they don't often have a good outcome. Does anyone have any advice on how their op turned out for them please?

knee replacement
Hi.. Im new here.. I had my left knee replaced 02.06.2016.... 3 weeks on and I developed an infection which to this day remains. I have had swabs done which shows the infection is resilient to Antibiotics. Dr's think I may be allergic to the internal stitching. I have had this in the length of my scar

Knee replacement surgery
I am due partial knee replacement surgery around the end of October. I have PV and wanted to ask if anyone else has gone through similar surgery and were there any precautions taken, like injections, against the danger of blood clots which I know is higher with lower limb ops. I will, of course, get

My old Rheumatologist use to say I have some type of Immune disorder just couldn't ever figure out which one so i stop going to him. But on August 10th I had surgery on
